Coming back here and making a new thread. How original of me.

Anyways, one friend of mine, Sdhonda (from Gamefaqs and UP) recently found a brand new video from Blizzard's part and what will become a legend on PC games, Starcraft. I give credits to him for finding it because I was camping out this Friday and came back today.

Seeing that nobody has posted this video yet, I decided to post it. For all the people who are Starcraft or RTS gaming fans, here it is. Take a look at the new units the game will have. Yes, I know it is a little old(3 days since it was posted) but still, the clip is worth to look at.

The graphics look certainly amazing. I can't wait for next year to come.

Carriers and Archons have always been my favorite. Looks like the Carrier got upgraded with shields.

The phase cannon looks good, too. Being able to move your cannons around after having been built to deal with any threats/open up a path for your troops means you can just build a bunch in a clump and move them around as needed. Probably a cool-down, but still good.

From the video it seems that the Tempest is a Carrier sporting the Immortals' new shield, cause if you notice the marines are damaging them, while the towers aren't.

And Twilight Archon? I say its a mix between a Dark Templar and a normal Templar.

I don't know what to make of the Soul Hunters other than that base was screwed.

I am also intrigued by the Phoenix unit that is "rapidly replacing the older scouts and corsairs in the role of fighter for the Protoss."

Which makes you wonder what levels of awesome the other races now have.

Anything called a phoenix makes me think it has self-repair/reconstruct abilities.

Its been mentioned that zerglings are their own bombs now.

Quite intriguing, the soul hunters were. I don't think the Tempest & Twilight Archon are anything but upgraded Carriers & Archons though. Although they might have some new abilities, or goodies, or somewhat.

Zergs also have nydus worms, as far as I understood, allowing underground transport, I think.

To be honest, it really wouldn't take that much. For the scouts at least. :shifty:
