First thing you see
What do you guys tend to look at first after logging in? I usually check out Off Topic first.
|
I usually check out the General forums first, then Off-topic, followed by Discussion, Community and Playing Games. I don't really take a deep look into the other topics tough, but sometimes I do find myself browsing in them.
I say "browse", because I'm more of a lurker than a poster. Yayz! I posted. |
"New Posts"
=3 |
Forum Games -> Community -> General -> anything else.
Thats my order. |
I check "New Posts," too.
:3 |
I go to Forum Games, then Playing Games, then Discussion. After that, I screw around until I've read everything.
|
I check my subscribed topics in User CP. Then I get sad because goddammit Nikose's mafia game hasn't updated yet and B_real's is taking a year because no one will post.
|
User CP, And my mafia just updated, Roy D mafiate.
|
Off Topic => General => Playing Games => Sometimes Community => Forum Games
|
Let's see.. Community -> Off Topic -> Category Listing -> ???? -> Stuff
|
Dealing with any Overnight Reported Posts -> Mod Forum -> Game Talk -> Forum Games -> POS's RP -> Community -> General -> Off Topic -> 8Bit -> ???????? -> Profit!
|
As of 20 minutes ago, 'New Posts.'
|
New posts.
|
Mod forum. Then I open pretty much all the subforums in the main section in new tabs, go through them opening every interesting thread in new tabs, then it's reading time. Sometimes I check the Games and RaiRO sections too.
|
I look off to the left of each topic to see if that little nuclear symbol is green, and if it is, I look at the "new post" side and if it's interesting, I look at that. Otherwise:
General->Off Topic->Arts and Crafts->Video Games->(sometimes, depending on my mood)Games I look in the other ones occassionally, usually if the "new topic" looks interesting. |
Technically, the index.
I use tabs to click open all of the sections I frequent (pretty much everything non-RP and non-8bit related). I can't promise that I then proceed through said tabs in any certain order.

MAH SUBSCRIPTIONS!!!
Well, actually, those get emailed to me, so I guess I go New Posts --> General --> Off Topic, unless something catches my eye on the main page. |
I go Off topic > Community > Games > General > just about everything else.

Whatever catches my eye.
This generally includes things like "LOWL WRCRAFT" with fifth being the last poster. So: Suffering Of Others -> Whatever The Hell I Feel Like -> Yaplet Though I'll have to check out this "New Posts" thingy. |
I check who's on, and the birthdays, then I take a general scan down the right side of the main page. If none of those threads catch my eye, I go to new posts. I also frequently pop in to Books & Comics, to see if anyone ever posts in my baby thread, the 50 Book Challenge (which no one ever does).
|
I personally just put on a blind fold and start clicking away. Hoping with each click it will be different.
|
I immediately hop over to yaplet, then browse around the RaiRO portion.
Everything else is read while waiting on people in yaplet. YAPLET!! |
I check Off-Topic and read everything, then I check interesting topics in General, Playing Games, and Animation/etc. Then I skip down to the RPGs, and then I come back up and browse Community, Comics, and pretty much all the ones I skipped before.
|
Off Topic-> Forum Games-> Yaplet-> Off Topic-> Animation -> Community-> Off Topic...
Refresh... COME ON!! |
50/50 chance between Roleplaying and RP Signups and Discussions...Occasionally if there's a Discussion thread I'm participating in (rare these days), I may also go there if I see it's updated on the main screen.
|
The Caption Contest. Then Post your Sketches Here. Being ADD I have no idea what I'll click on after that.
|
Subscribed threads. Then whatever else looks interesting. At this point it's like, at least 8 tabs open in my browser. I try to eliminate a few and only read the ones that really pique my interest.
|
Off topic, pretty much.
