I've been trying to drink coffee for the last two years or so, but it just never gives: it's disgusting to me. On the other hand, I am able to drink Tim Horton's Ice Cappucino with no problem, because I know that there's a shitload of sugar in there. The first time I drank one though, I became very hyper and wouldn't stop shaking and talking, and this was only a small ice cap too. My friends found me very entertaining that day.
Now, I can drink a medium one with not much problem, but if I don't drink them often enough, I start shaking again. Moral of this story: I'm better off with chocolate, like Barrel. |

However, if you all of a sudden stopped drinking coffee, or soda, or whatever it is that you're having with caffeine, you'd sure as hell notice the headaches, withdrawal symptoms, etc. Oh oh oh! Interesting side note, caffeine also helps speed up and enhance the efficacy of drugs. So, if you have a headache or something, it may help to down a cup o' coffee with that Tylenol. The more you know. |
I once went 6 months without caffiene, just to see if I could do it. Then I went to see SwimFan and got dark chocolate covered coffee beans as a snack. I was flippin out man! Oh my god, those were bad times.

I don't think anything can have the effect on me that caffeine used to have. It's gotten to the point that I'll drink two of those little five hour energy shots mixed with coffee and a jamocha shake, and follow it up with a mountain dew for good measure, and that'll keep me going for a 6-9 hour shift.
At work, they like to joke that my urine is radioactive now. |
I'm proud to say I'm a caffine addict.
Coffee, Mountain Dew, Redbull, MONSTER, you name it. We have some things that make life worse with caffine; we have chocolates that have 70-86% pure Coacoa - it's like caffine in Kit-Kat form!!! |
geez... am I the only person here who isn't addicted to caffeine? Generally, the only time I get caffeine is when I can't get caffeine free drinks.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd much rather not have my dopamine levels bouncing back and forth every time I need a caffeine fix. |

Just joking with ya. Personally I prefer tea to anything else. It has just enough caffeine to keep my mind sharp withou making me hyper. |
