Sorry...I just had to make that the topic title.

Well, to start off, I don't think it was long enough.

Furthermore, there was a distinct lack giant robot cars, insane cats, and full frontal nudity.

And finally I was too busy being insane to properly absorb jello while I read it.

At least we know Task has a smidgen more likelihood of not dying. Maybe.

D'oh! But if you kill Task, then Trish will be the only player-character left in our amazing T3 group! :gonk:



Also-- TB, is Trish being too godmoddy lately? I wasn't sure if I was going overboard or not. I think she's the most powerful character I've ever RPed. Sad, isn't it? But what with the Road Rex fight she pulled off earlier and the MoH Rescue Scene she just finished up, is she becoming too super-human, or am I still okay here? Just wanted to make sure I'm not ticking people off.

Having had more free time than I expected today, I read the thread.

My notes on Incendius' post.

• 1. Michael wakes up.
  2. Michael does a monologue.
  3. Michael does another monologue.
  4. Michael does another monologue, finally realizing that the shit's hit the fan.
  5. Michael mutters some mumbo jumbo.
  6. Michael give a couple of guys orgasms.
  7. Michael does a magic trick with a car. No wires involved at all, honest!
  8. Michael has another monologue, getting in between the two guys, feeling an unsual amount of remorse.
  9. Michael then kicks the two out.
  10. Michael has another monologue, while he's committing grand theft auto.
  11. Michael takes a little joy ride.
  12. Michael monologues to save the day! Or Task.
  13. Michael says more mumbo jumbo.
  14. Monologue, monologue, monologue.
  15. Michael steals the twin's idea, and flashes his way towards an angel.
  16. Michael uses a reinforced car to slam into the fallen, and jumps out. It's okay, he's using a spell to keep himself from dying from the impact.
  17. There's a gravity spell to slow down the fallen.
  18. Michael uses webbing to stop the Fallen in his tracks. Probably. If not, he'll die, horribly.

Pretty much, though 18 can be expanded into any of the four spells can be backfire, and he can die horribly from those, or a hundred other things (Such as a simple demon walking over and doing a Coup De Grace, or simply his brain matter being burned out from trying too many things at once, assuming that happens and the spells don't just fizzle)

You know, I know in table-top gaming, one of the unwritten rules of the GM is to try to kill the characters...and now I find myself in the odd position of trying to figure out how to justify not killing people's characters.

...And you guys are making it somewhat difficult...

Well, assuming this is the final battle, it IS time to go out with a bang, so, eh, its what we're SUPPOSED to be doing faced with a nigh unstoppable creature.

Hell, even if we don't defeat it, if any of our gambits work and we drive it off, it might let us live long to protect to the MOH longer, and we can work out some better preparations.

Oooh...people thought it was the final battle...

...not so much...I still have a few things to throw at you guys before that.

I think Incendius was the only one who thought that. We still have quite a few interesting encounters, like the one where Laurella becomes abducted by a bigass Slug Demon with his henchmen and winds up in a golden bikini thing with a chain around her neck.

Does that make me 3PO or R2D2? I need to post, Incendius just intimidated me with that huge post.
