Without having actually played it, can't I assume that like in previous DOA's, the difficulty comes not from the actual AI but from the fact that the boss is broken in terms of game balance?

Why are super powered enemies always referred to as "Bosses" when it is quite common for real bosses do less work and are less useful than their underlings?
