Devil May Cry anime
 

So, through my ways and means I got ahold of episode 1 and 2.

Hot damn.

As a Devil May Cry fanboy, this tickled all the right nerves. The anime takes place between 3 and 1, before he meets Trish and starts the Malay Island incident. Dante's not as young and over-energetic as #3; instead, he's just the I'm-The-Badass demon hunter pro.

The writing is really good for an anime, and some of the fight scenes are a bit confusing, but it's mostly just Dante doing what he does best - choppin' and slashin' the shit out of demons.

I highly recommend it when it hits stateside. Completely worth it.

I've only seen the first episode, but I'm hooked. I really enjoy the art and I hope it doesn't have a major stall.

I am convinced that Dante is the laziest person ever when it comes to not fighting.

He is ALWAYS, always lounging around.

I am interested in the anime, as it was a fun game to watch people play.

Looky here, episodes! Though unfortunately I don't speak japanese and the subs look rough to say the least, so I think I'll wait for the dub, but it DOES look good.

you're right, those subs are really rough.

Though you know what this means, there's gonna be fight topics between Dante and Alucard now.

Dante doesn't have super duper mojo magical powers of super duper deathish obscene I CAN WARP REALITY AND DO WHATEVER I WANT INCLUDING COME BACK FROM TOTAL OBLITERATION DEATH.

So anywho, I'm watching episode 1 right now and I must say I liked the music during the intro fight.

It's a neat Anime to say the least but the subbing is absolutly awful.

Look for the subbing by Kuro-Hana - NEET

It's the best one out there. It's actually a top notch one to be honest, something I'd expect from Datteybo or whomever it is that does Naruto/Bleach.

For those of you who care about that sort of thing, ADV has picked up the license on it.
