Live Free or Die Hard [spoilers possible]
 

Best $3 I have spent this year.

Seriously, I was kinda upset when I found out it was PG-13, but that didn't stop this movie from being super awesome.

Anyone else see the movie?

I saw it today, and it pure unfiltered awesome. Not sure if unfiltered is even a good thing, but awesome is awesome is awesome.

Just got back from seeing it. Now I have to see the others.

I'm kinda sad I saw it... it raised the bar for how I think a movie should be, and that means that Transformers is more likely to disappoint me.

...But damn! That was an awesome movie!

"Short, Asian chick? Likes to kick people? Well, she's at the bottom of an elevator shaft with an SUV up her ass. No hard feelings?"

I'm seeing this for my Birthday....

I now actually have to censor myself. The last time I said "Bruce Willis," a small child's head exploded due to the sheer awesome created by this movie.

The best part of the movie is without a doubt...

When he drives the SUV through the entire fucking building in order to run over the very hot very deadly asian chick. Then, you think he ran her over, but no no. She's on the roof. And they're going down an elevator shaft. This is of course followed by a massive explosion.

*whimper* I can now die happy knowing that not every sequel sucks and... and...*sniffle* I'm sorry this' just an emotional topic for me, I love you movie people you have restored my faith until Monday (when I will see if Transformers doesn't suck)!!

No kidding on the comments of the awesomeness of the movie, I saw it at the drive-ins, I drank like 8 sodas in the first 30 minutes and then sat unable to leave my car for fear of missing any ounce of the awesome that was on the screen.

I mean the sequences with his daughter kicking ass and calling the Mac boy a pussy made my cry with laughter, Willis' ability to get his ass kicked believably is great... and to quote part of Darth's favorite scene "That is enough of that Kung Fu shit!" And the poor dude who got his by the car, exploded outta the chooper and then chopped up in the air handler...I was just waiting to see what crazyness came next! The only downside for me was the bit with the JSF (F-35) at the end, it was a bit too much of a stretch, that and Mr. "I hacked the Pentagon with a laptop in front of you" couldn't crack Wiz Boy's encryption was weak. All that was easily made up for when Willis said "Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker!" I almost died of joy knowing that it wasn't cut!

Guys, I'm a little concerned. I watched Live Free or Die Hard last night and believe I may have overdosed on awesome.

Does anyone know the appropriate treatment for that?

Launches the car at the chopper because he "Ran out of bullets"? Bruce Willis continues to be fricken badass.

I laughed. I laughed some more. I laughed till I cried. I was bolted to my seat. I don't need to watch another movie this year.
And Kevin Smith as Warlock? Too much awesome!

"Live Free Or Die Harder Another Day With a Vengeance is not a good movie. Mind you, I love mindless action. Die Hard 1 - 3 rock my world. This one? Not so much. "

I disagree

I think this was only the second action movie of the summer (after 300) to be even remotely worth while. It was over the top, silly and truly entertaining. The plot was close enough to reality that you could suspend your disbelief, the one liners were good, and the action was quite good.

People that don't like this action movie are probably going to be the same people that didn't think the Transporter was a good action flick. Otherwise known as people who don't know lots about action movies.
