Raine ducked out of the way of a swinging tenticle, it barely missing striking her. She tightened her grip on her staff as she shouted to the others, "Should I summon?"

(OOC: Oh yeah, I know it probably doesn't matter that much, but Bite, I think you tranlated the last part of your Al Bhed post wrong, It should say
"Sunuhc...zicd ku ynuiht dra drehk..." ) (if you tranlated the Al Bhed you wrote to english, it would be saying: "Canahl...fylt ga inayhd tru trohg..." (that's english) Which doesn't make any words. ^^;; ) It's not that big of a deal, but I was just letting you know.)

OOC: Oh yeah, you show up and tell us Ripel sent you, we'll all think wonderfully of you then...

Dezil was avoiding the tentacls as best as he could, and while he had been knocked off his feet once, he was luckily alright. It just seemed that this thing was taking a ton of punishment and wouldn't go down...

"Hey, this thing is weak against fire, right!?" Drake yelled to nobody in particular as he leapt back and forth, avoiding the whipping tentacles of the giant Ochu.

If the Ochu is weak against fire, I can try to Fire Breath it...hopefully, it'll work...

"Yes, it's weak against fire!" Dezil shouted, doging one tentacle, but then getting slammed by the other and thrown a distance away from it. He coughed painfully, stunned by the blow, and got back to his feet, waiting a second to catch his breath again.

OOC: Ochu's have some weird status alignment attack right?

OOC: I'm pretty sure Ochus can poison people.

ooc: Poison, like what happened to me.

Mitsu hit him again with another Fire spell. He fell to his knees. He felt so weak all of a sudden.

OOC: Well we don't need two poisoned people...

IC:
Rei was hit by a tentacle, hitting him down the path towards the temple.

OOC: It doesn't always poison you, I don't think. I thought the poison move was a special attack.

Drake saw Mitsu, Rei, and Dezil go down. "I reckon it's time to take you down!" Drake bellowed.

He reared back, and let loose a cone of flame much larger than before, hoping that the miniature inferno would be enough to at least weaken the beast.
