And I raaaaan, I ran so far awaaaay...
Yeah, I saw that skimming through the list and it was the first thing to just kinda hit me. Anyway, that looks like a pretty solid list. Should suck up a hell of a lot more time from after both of the other PS2 games. Still need to finish Free Bird on expert, honestly... |
horseshit. i see nothing by the Cars on that list.
|
Limozeen. And it comes out on my birthday.
There is a god. Also glad to see Police and Maiden on there, but sad to see Metallica get passed over yet again, or some early Dream Theater. |
I'm just disappointed by the extremely short play list. I had expected like 40.
|
No extra songs. Sad story.
I just want the guitar hero for stupid death metal covers of songs. You know, songs that the people who like said songs would hate the covers. Like Paint It Black by Black Dahila Murder or My Sharona by The Number Twelve Looks like You. That would be a scary day indeed. I'm also waiting for more buttons to two-hand pick. There are custom songs for stuff like "Eruption" (Eddie Van Halen) that just look impossible. D: |
Iron Maiden, Twisted Sister, and Flock of Seagulls.
I approve. |
BETWEEN THE VELVET LIII-IES!
THERE'S A TRUTH AS HARD AS STEEEEEL! THE VISION NEVER DIIII-IES! LIKE SOME NEVER ENDING WHEEEEEL! I've been praying for Holy Diver since it failed to appear in GH1. So pumped. |
Against this playlist lip-tricking off of a skull wouldn't be all that out of place, though it would be perhaps more appropriate if, instead of a skateboard, a Ford Thunderbird.
|
There's quite a few on there that I've been waiting for as well, No One Like You, Radar Love, and I Wanna Rock among them.
Still, I'd rather have We're Not Gonna Take It and Cum On Feel The Noize, but I'll tide myself over on the hacks with them. |
Pbbbt, I just realized that that's Radar Love by White Lion!
I thought the song was by Golden Earring...? No? Am I thinking of something else entirely? Could it be a cover of my favorite driving song? |
No STYX?
I AM ANGERREEDDDD |
I didn't know a song about police brutality and abuse of authority was so mainstream-compatible.

The guitar's up to snuff, but the vocals are lacking. Now what would be nice is since they're doing a cover of a cover, is to use Golden Earring-style vocals with White Lion guitar work (as the original Radar Love doesn't have a solo). Quote:

^ I agree with Renegade.
I saw Styx in concert! ROCKING good time! Also agreed about the White Lion/Golden Earring thing. And Van Halen could always use some love. |
I really do hope that the lyrical style of Golden Earring is used over the terrible vocals of that blasphemous White Lion version.
I submit that while the guitar really would be more fun to play in the White Lion cover, the vocals are just awful. |
They can't do Golden Earring 'cause that was the '70s.

Edit: I think that the GH chart linked counts as being on "Hard" difficulty rather than expert. It's missing some of the more exact notes. |
