Hello. ^^ I know IHMN has been mentioning about me joining the RP so... I'd better post in the discussion thread.
Now, to business. (if this is considered business)

I suppose I'll have to write up a bio, and I'll get on that ASAP. And do the names (if they're faery-like people, I think I'm a Neried) Do they have to have traditional faery-like names or is just any fantasy-ish name alright?

But I'll get to work on my bio. Thankies for letting me join. (er, well. I don't know if it's OFFICIAL yet, but...) ^^;;

And is Vlad the villain? (I just wanna try and get the story straight ^^ )

Go to that site and download the first translator. That's the language Ren uses for her characters spells (And to get some Faerie names I think). You might not need it, but might as well have a translator.

And yes, it is offical. (I also brought SS back into this)

The (main) story so far doesn't involve anyone but Ren, kyrlo, and Jad... Vlad isn't the villian, some troll with a necklace is. Vlad would be a chaotic good character... He's mean, but he will be on the good guys side. Though if for story reasons a good guy goes evil, Vlad will most likely be that character.

Oh yeah. Is there anything extra I should know about the powers and such of a Neried? (I know some of the stuff, I just wanna make sure I won't be missing anything)

You can turn invisible and immaterial while in water (Basically become water). You also start with some weak water magic.

Edit - And for your bio, I am assuming you want to be a completely new slave (No previous masters) for reasons I will not mention, so you would just have to put that she lives in water, came to land for whatever reason, got captured, Vlad tricked hunters and got her for free/cheap. (Obviously you could add more)

or you know she could not be YOUR slave. Shesh your getting bad about this.

Or it's that she has already picked that her character will be my guy's slave (Through PMs)

Though now that I look back, she could be part of the stalkers guild... Though her race choice makes more sense as a slave (Since it does say that they are often slaves in the Neried bio)

Edit - It would also put her with two other PCs from the start. (Me and Ecurt)

I like how that works out, it gives me a better reason for jumping in the story than just jumping in and being like, "Hey! I just feel like joining you guys for no appearant reason!"

Your just asking for trouble I tells you. Besides your joining a non advancing part of the story. Krylo, Ren and I are where it's at right now. Besides you don't want me to make slut jokes in the Myst.

My NPC Faerie will bring about slut jokes anyway.

And everyone will be part of the main story soon enough.

It's completely up to her who she starts out with, be it Vlad's slave or even a lesser noble or servant or commoner or something in Seelie Court. Or Unseelie Court. Whichever.

Yah, what Ren said... Also, SS... I'd rather he be stoic-ish, as that it's kind of hard for me to imagine a silly stupid suit of armor, but... I think I'll allow it. Just so long as you stay in some semblance of reason, and are able to act serious when things get dire... and just so long as Ren doesn't have a problem. She ran off to the video store right after getting on for a minute so I didn't get a chance to discuss it with her.

However, it'd be more believable to have a lizardman or giant act like that... of course, something opposite of what is normally expected may be just what you're going for, so whatever.

Well, he's easy to manipulate. But like a little kid, he's not gonna' believe what the guy he was just told to smush says.

Your guy seems like he would be no threat to anything or anyone..

Here's my character bio. It's not very specific, so I hope it's alright. ^^;

Name: Aidelyn (you can call her Ai for short... maybe)
Occupation: Slave. >_<;
Race: Neried
Skills: She can turn invisible and immaterial while in water Can also start with some weak water magic. Also a water barrior type thing (I think Krylo mentioned it back on the 2nd page or something)
Appearance: "Nerieds look like Nymphs, who look like human females...." I'll think of the specifics later.
Bio: Aidelyn lived in water (duh) as all Nerieds do. She was a rather mischievious Neried and wandered away from her water home often to spy on humans and other races (not staying away from her water for too long). She usually was fairly good at keeping herself hidden, but one day, she wandered a bit to close to a slave trader, trying to see what he was doing with all of the Nymphs and other creatures, and she got captured herself. The slave trader thought she was a Nymph so he didn't know her need to be around water... luckily (if lucky is what you'd call it), before long, she got bought by another (Vlad) and is currently being shipped off in some cart to who-knows-where...

Edit: Here's the 'water bubble' spell I was talking about earlier.
Only altered to not give water breathing (as that you don't need it anyway). I suggested it because it would allow you to stick yourself in water if you needed to.

She's going to post after I do my post which will give her something to post about, since right now all she is doing being stuck in a small carriage floating in a pool.

Do vampires have to sleep in coffins?

Nope, they can sleep wherever they want... so long as they don't try to tan.

Since we have this, I'll respond here instead of OOC in thread...

1) Vlad is a slaver, but his slaves have better lives then most others at least. Not so much for the men though, since they have to participate in a fight every now and then with each other.

2) Ogres/Orcs hate humans, Vlad is not human, that is easy to prove (Metamorphesis).

3) Ogres have weak minds, even leaders would easily fall prey to Vlad's mind domination.

One problem with that. There are a couple thousand of them and once a horde gets going, it's hard to stop. You might sway a few, but an army? not bloody likely. Your castle would be ruins and you'd be running for your life. To make matters worse what if the amulet enhanced troll joins them. Do you think you can contest the will of a god? He'd crush your mind like you squash a roach. So quit being mr. I'm so bad cause I have psychic powers it's getting annoying.

For one, he has a small army of guards, as well as a large amount of fighting slaves. He could hold out for a while. (Edit) - And fortified walls.

And to get them to stop attacking, he wouldn't bother with grunts. Morph to a bird and fly to the leaders, land nearby and out of sight, then morph into a race that Ogres like. Then convice them that you are ruler and castle and control the puny humans. If that doesn't work, some mind domination and convice them to turn around.

And as for the troll god, I didn't think he'd join with the ogres. I figured it was going to be a loner thing, killing all in it's parth to a better host.

Your character is to powerful, you have tweeked against all weaknesses of your abilities.

Fire still kills him. Holy magic still kills him. He has to concentrate to keep the light off him, he can only do one other thing while keeping the light off him (Split personality). Garlic is still a poison to him. Silver still kills him.

Besides the light thing, he still has every weakness he is supposed to have.

Just stop being a bitch and trying to kill my character. If Vlad's castle has to go because of story, then fine. If not, I rather keep it (One reason being because I couldn't sleep yesterday and drew a crappy map it, which I am now trying to edit so I can post them)

Yeah some one with fire or holy magic and you'll just use your psychic powers. Your castle is a liability too. How do you plan to be part of the story doing your half assed dracula.

Did you completely miss the part where kyrlo explained that mages have strong minds, and it would take longer to crush their mind so I can control it?

And really, getting into the story isn't my problem. But I am pretty sure there are many ways to do it while keeping the castle up (krylo and Ren are smart, they can figure it out).

Edit - One way would be to have something happen to the vampire clan, and because of Vlad's psionic abilities the council makes him go to help or something.

Edit 2 - Another could be the troll thing kills one of Vlad's slaves/servants while their out buying food. That alone would cause him to track down and kill it.

Very late edit - For the point before of being attacked and not having time, there is a large human village infront of the castle. Ogres would try destroying that first, giving Vlad much time to sneak around behind them.







Edit 3 - Wasn't able to sleep so I drew a rough plan of Vlad's castle. (Look at my post above this one for bird's eye view of entire castle area). Only place with windows are the left and right towers, everywhere else is lit up by many, many tourches and chandeliers.

The dark brown lines mean furniture/seats/drawers/shelves/etc. Purple lines mean doors.

Main - Forgot to add in the stables behind the topleft (female slaves) and topright (male slaves) areas

2nd Floor - Arena/Staduim goes up 2 floors. Also, female slaves tower first floor room is 2 floors tall, but forgot to draw it that way. Push up every room in the topleft 1 floor. That top middle thing is Vlad's room.

3rd - Center tower ends here, empty top.

4th - Topright tower ends here, some plants and seats on top.

5th - Nothing special. (No real picture, but top left of 4th floor is really in the 5th)

6th - End of topright tower, more plants, some seats, and a pool on top. (No picture)

Basement - Storage under both left and right towers, clothes in both and food in the left. Under staduim area for preparations. That middle thing is secert staircase that only Vlad knows about.

Secert Basement - Dungeon and... stuff...
