I'm a big fan of guns in RPGs, but wouldn't a nuclear catapult be more at home in an FPS than an RPG?

Other than that, it seems that the Fallout series is in good hands. I especially like how the tutorial and character creation are to be handled in this game.

I heard the fighting system would be different somehow not clear on the details of it yet but its not exactly like an FPS from what i read in the GI issue. Although i do like the fact of reading radiation levels before drinking water and if you drink or eat too much things poisoned with radiation you begin to feel the effects.

Also if you are injured water and food don't magically heal your broken arm. you yourself have to actually treat it or go to the town medical practitioner and/or doctor.

I've only ever played Fallout for the PS2 - Brotherhood of Steel - and it wasn't that great.
You haven't played Fallout.

I've always wondered how an RPG would go over if you had to avoid physical conflict as you do in real life. (i.e. you could really die from a simple bullet wound instead of just healing yourself.) Not that you couldn't fight, but realistic injuries would certainly be an incentive to find a less violent solution.

I'd like to see how this turns out. Of course even if your character is hurt, the player won't feel it. Kind of like ants, they don't feel pain like we do they just know they're injured.
