Story/Comic Idea: KNIGHTS
 

This is something I've been comming up with for about a year now, and I'm throwing it out to see what people think about it. The whole series is called KNIGHTS and was inspired by old-school comic heroes and villains with a fantasy/sci-fi mix.

KNIGHTS
By the year 4787 AD, mankind has encountered two other races as it stretched across the galaxy - the Elves of the planet Eden, and the Dragons of the planet Gaia. Around the same time, a group of hidden armored super-beings called Velspaar (ancient translation of knight) came out of hiding revealing themselves to be the guardians of the galaxy granted their god-like characteristics by the heart of the galaxy called "Source Infinite." However, all's not well as some KNIGHTS have gone rogue and corrupt, breeding distrust between all normal beings and the KNIGHTS.
In 4968 AD, the human race being "threatened" by the existence of Dragons, had an extremist military wing utterly annhilate and genocide the dragon world, leaving only a hand-ful of Dragons.
Now 50 years later, a dragon in human form named Kairen and his brother Saezun discover they are knights, and as they band with other KNIGHTS to restore justice to the galaxy, they are met by the malevolent KNIGHTs Reio and Zealar who want to purge the galaxy into their own image.

SOLDIERS
By the year 7968 DA "Dawn after", mankind has encountered two other races as it stretched across the galaxy - the Psychic monsters of the planet Byra'kura, and the Raging insect hordes of the planet Perci-duv. Around the same time, a group of super-beings Awoke Their name forgotton with aeons of carnage. granted their god-like characteristics by the heart of the galaxy called "Nok'trugoor" However, all is not well as some of Mankind has Shied away from their brethren and Began Colonizing One of the nuclear war ravaged Earths Numerous moons as they try to retake earth from the Monstrosities that roam its surface.
As it turns out these Humans Retaking earth are the direct descendants of earths Culture as the bulk of mankind are infact "clones".

In 4968 AD, the human Almost doomed to extinction by the Horrors of The Insect and the Ancient Horrors of forgotton Kurhac,Mankind had an extremist military wing utterly Insane and they went full force against the Insects but to no avail..as the humans attacked the insect world and its fleets where bound for ancient Kurhac, A myriad clones revolted and launched Horrific destruction in the way of Nuclear weapons aimed at all the capitals on earth and everytown in between leaving only a handful Survivors.
Now 3 Milenium years later The Human Consortium, The Typhoon Legion as the insects too have involved Intelligence and strange powers among some enhancements. now is the time for the Horrors To launch their assault on the Demi-Gods.

Prepare for War.

A you misinterperate what i meant!
I was merely saying this kind of stuff has been done, and ALSO if you change around a few key parts you can create an entirely "fresh" story...

what i wrote... "starcraft" and Warhammer are the basis of it...

where as Xaeta's sounds like a generic Anime...

And i only changed a few parts... thats why we need something Immensely original like i dont know.. Nano-machine controlling ninja with a vendetta against all government bodies?

And Kerensky thats an interesting prospect..But how would it actually play out...
Evil dudes go around killing stuff police subdue them? or they go on a massacre to prove a point and if they are true evil the point would be to have fun while killing...
Then they apologize and Benevolence Strives again! OR rehab.
OR a Stalin-esque Regime of soldiers fighting for the greater good...crusades anyone?

and well it is possible however you have to be without a lot of influence / input from others...
Lets Take HP Lovecraft for instance he was a shut-in his whole life never got fame until many years after death since no tv nothing like that he just wrote and wrote and his influence came from his dreams his works are fantastic and i highly suggest them!

But thats beside the point, which is that you have to really really really try to create something original in this day and age,

For instance
"planet Orikra Inhabited by the strange seething rage filled beasts not dis-similar to man. Yet they stand 12 foot tall and have no face Muscle bound and 15 fingers.
26 legs and "spinities" all over their bodies..."

See when you try too hard or ARE original it is just stupid... so we as creators walk a very fine line.

yes we do.

however what I posted was essentially a background, not the full story itself. so things change as you judge only the surface of what was seen.
