Ken snapped back into reality and stood up. He looked at his fathers corspe one last time and turned around closing his wings against him in the process.
“Um…Angel girl….Ken…I really think we should get back inside…there’s something-aaahh!”
When Ken heard Hilary’s scream he was on full alert, he saw the creature and said out loud "Lets get inside quick!" Ken started to run back the way he came to the window with the hole created by the dragon, but then he stopped and grabbed Hilary and cradled her in his hand. He made sure that she wasn't hurt or anything as he kinda did it slowly and gently, he also stopped to test out his wings hoping that his thoughts during the run over here figured out a way to use them. He made one strong flap of his wings in which he burst into the air about 20 feet, he spread his wings outward to keep him from falling back down and started to flap his wings once more but in a type of oval motion flying forward. Cradling Hilary in his left hand ever so lightly but making sure she won't be blast away by the rushing air he makes his way to the window he left.

Arthur thought he was in hell. He surveyed the damage to the town from his front lawn. Several houses were on fire and various beasts were running about generating a maelstrom of terror throughout the town. Rising flames lured Arthur's eyes to the direction of the college building. Arthur felt his heart sink as the chem lab started to burn. "Ah shi-" Arthur's voice was cut off by the roof of the chem lab being blasted off. A rumble followed as the walls of the chem lab crumbled down. Amy had to of been in there, she always stayed in the chem lab. She was a nerd but she was his nerd. Arthur struggled with himself what to do. He saw firemen hopelessly trying to put out fires though no water came out of the hydrants, beasts running amok and terrorising innocent people, and he knew for sure the love of his life was in that god forsaken no man's land of a school.

Arthur ran for the school as cold sweat dripped down his face. His lungs were burning but his pace didn't faulter. He vaulted over the securtiy checkpoint's gate and rushed into the school. The presence of demons and other foul creatures assured Arthur that things were much worse here than in town. Arthur hid behind a corner and watch as a small man sized demon decapitated a man by twisting his head off. The man's body flailed helplessly with blood flooding from his neck. As the demon busily chewed on the head Arthur slipped into a nearby building. The hair on the back of his neck stood on end as he heard a subtle hiss next to him. Arthur breathed in and felt the tuning fork like vibration from his bat as he pummeled the snake man next to him. The creature's arms flailed in the air as its body slammed against the wall.

Arthur proceeded through the building and heard a slight murmur from behind the door he was next to. Arthur tried the handle and opened the door slowly. He crept in cautiously with his bat held above his head. Arthur felt a sharp pain to his forehead as a desk chair was slammed into his face. His ears rang as he blacked out though the words "Oh my god he's not one of them!" drifted in his head before losing consciousness.

While Zoran was in flight he noticed he was getting very tired, he started to lack in wing flaps and started to fall and rise up again in the air, and soon he let go of Hilary and fell straight to the ground. As he was 60 Feet in the air, now he landed with a very bone cracking thump, he looked up and saw the female angel above circling him in the air with a shocked expression. He spitted up blood which didn't go out so well. And so his wings where bloody and disoriented, he was bleeding to death from his arm and he was spitting up blood which stained his shirt. He layed there, tears in his eyes and hurt.

He started his attempt to get up, thankfully his legs still working.

I slowly swam back to conchesiness. I reached around and felt a bit of blood on the back of my head, and saw that my shirt was ripped, showing scales and skin underneath. As I woke up, I said "Man...I had one hell of a dream....must have...been...the.....Aw crap." I saw that I still had a serpentine lower body. I sighed and slowly made my way back into the classroom. "Ok, what the hell is going on in here, and why am I half snake?"

Ariel hadn't been watching the kid as he plummeted, lost in the ecstasy of flight and watching the ground below for signs of danger. When she looked ahead, the disappearance of the kid frightened her a bit, but she thought he might have put on the speed and zoomed ahead of her.

She made it back to the open window, and saw the demon at the very least subdued on the floor, and lifted herself in.

"Great going guys!" Ariel announced as she entered. "Where's the little angel? Did he make it back okay?"

Ken finally got up on his feet, his wings dragging on the ground while he struggled forward to the open window, He saw Ariel threw the window and said in a weak voice.

"Help me.. please, I can't get in..."

Ariel turned around at the noise outside and pulled the little guy inside.

"well that explains him."

"Okay, so, introductions? Who are you guys, or who were you, if that makes more sense? I'm Ariel Swanson, art major..."

Ken looked around and saw many people and creatures alike. He slided to the corner of the room, scared of the people around, then he saw a corspe of a demon. The sat there with eyes wide open, scared. He closed his wings around his body, ignoring the blood on them and wept.
