Harry Potter: Omitted and Abridged
 

Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix is coming out and I pose a question to you all:

What content will be omitted and/or abridged?

I'm placing bets that good ol' Nymphadora Tonks will not be there, and if she is, have few or no lines.

Tonks is in the movie!

But I read somewhere that she doesn't say "Wotcher Harry!"

I doubt there will be much, if any Quidditch. So Ron likely won't get the job of Keeper.

God, I hope they take out all of the Quidditch. Also, is it me or Umbridge looks very un-Umbridge? Not enough toad-like characteristics for me.

As a movie, it is looking very meh to me. Then again, Order of the Phoenix is one of my least favourite books of the series.

Aw.. that was the best scene Hermione ever gets. Now if only she had opted for the 'leprosry inducing anti-rat charm' instead of acne...

I always thought of Umbridge looking like Roz from Monsters, Inc.

I thought of her as Miss Finster from Recess with huge eyes, even fatter and squatter, and garish clothing.

This is the one with the dementors that attack him in the summer right? That whole thing will probably be the extent of what happens in the Dursley portion of the movie.

Apparently, they omitted Bellatrix Lestrange to just three lines in the entire movie. That makes me a sad panda, since she was my second favourite new character besides Nymphadora Tonks, who is also underused by what reviews are saying.

I think they trimmed 12 Grimmauld Place to the basics. Which is only notable in that Mrs. Weasley's biggest scene (with the boggart) is probably gone. Though, it does serve as foreshadowing, I think they'll cut it.
