Anyone know how to do flash stuff.
 

I was wondering, I'd like to try to do flash, but I dunno where to start. Any suggestions...

(P.S. - I don't know crap about programming, which is why I'm a mechanic...damn grease guns....)

Do it one frame at a time...thats how I created these...

Anyway, do a Google Search for flash tutorials. It's best to learn about a program before you try to use it.

I mean no offense by this Sever, but you don't seem to realize that flash is primarily used to make stuff like you see on Newgrounds, not gif animations. There's a big difference.

I dunno, I was actually thinking more along the lines of a flash sonic game that someone had posted. Flash tends to be pretty interactive, so I kinda think of them as minigames (hence the reason for posting it here).

I say find some unemployed kind-of-long-haired-dude who knows how to work flash and get him to teach you, someone like my brother.

On a side note, I just downloaded a version of SWISHmax pro or something like that. I hate trial versions...

Me, I learned flash from the start. The best advice I can give anyone is to just play around for a LONG time, making crappy animations, bad movies, more and more untily ou finally reach an epiphany and realize how to do something. Tutorials help, but it's really best to toy around yourself. Maybe I have a knack for this sort of thing, but even with the trial flash you can make some good stuff.

Also, sever"n"steel: those suck, quite frankly. Sorry. I can make better animations with a purely-gif making program.

Also, download Flash (MX, 5, 6, whatever the current one is). It's much better then Swish.
