Unemployed man creates his own job.

And I applaud him for it.

Zilla 07-10-2007 02:53 PM

agreed, that's totally awesome. I wonder what other jobs could be created besides garbage collecting?

P-Sleazy 07-10-2007 02:59 PM

Mr. Fixits- guys who fix random things around the city that have fallen in disrepair.
Mr. Cleanit- guys who clean un-family-safe grafiti and such.
Mr. pooper scooper- guy who cleans animal feces off the ground.
Mr. I'll do your yardwork-self explanatory.

Ok, so maybe it needs more ingenuity but damn this guys good.

What's better is that they're realizing how cool this actually is - a system where you're paid if you're totally broke to clean the streets? Hell yeah, more unemployed people should get in on that. Props to him.

That's really awesome. My town has a homeless guy who stands out on the street by our Wal Mart. The town tried so hard to give the man a job(and trust me, it's not that hard to find a job in our area if you're willing. The one factory around here, I think the only requirements is that you have two arms and two legs, and they'll pay you $8.25 an hour.) and a home and such, but he refused. He'd rather beg than have a job, I guess. And yet people still give him money.

So props to this guy for getting up off his butt and doing something about his situation. I'd definately donate to that guy.

Kinda spammy Shishio.

This is a brilliant solution to the problem. If I ever see that guy when I go downtown, I'll be sure to donate to him.

I wish that the homeless in my town was that proactive.
That is exciting to see.

Man, this just helps prove Toronto is the best. Even our homeless are awesome!
