Remixes and Remix ideas.
 

I currently have 4 remixes to my name, and I sporadically work on ideas I have. Three of those four are mashups, and the other isn't so much a remix as something meant to entertain/annoy.

The ones I have completed are:

Little Dribble's Highway Busters - remix of WarioWare Inc song and The Pillows
World Without Jun - remix of the Hellsing opening and the Cromartie High School opening
Carmen Is a Centerfold - remix of Carmen SanDiego and Angel is A Centerfold (I thought about adding Mmmbop, then remembered how much Hansen sucks)
Linkin Park's In The Rut.

Ideas I have for mashups include The Soviet National Anthem and Moonsong from Cave Story, Pour Some Sugar On Me and Cherry Pie, and No One Like You and Carry On My Wayward Son.

I do have this crazy one knocking around in my head that uses voice clips from Resident Evil 4. The first and third beats are Leon, saying "Follow me. Wait." And then, the fourth beat alternates between Leon saying a character's name, and that character saying Leon's name. So it would go.

Leon: Follow me.
Leon: Wait.
Leon: Ashley!
Leon: Follow me.
Leon: Wait.
Ashley: Leon!
Leon: Follow me.
Leon: Wait.
Leon: Ada!
Leon: Follow me.
Leon: Wait.
Ada: Leon!
Leon: Follow me.
Leon: Wait.
Leon: Krauser!
Leon: Follow me.
Leon: Wait.
Krauser: Leon.

And etc.

And also, on alternating measures, the Merchant would say "What're ya buyin'?" and "What're ya sellin'?" while Leon says "Follow me".

And there'd be a breakdown in the middle with the Merchant, doing some interesting things we've actually remixed with the game itself.

I don't have enough time right now - it being 7:45 AM and all - to sit down and listen. But I will.

Do you do requests, by chance? I still have yet to hear a decent revamp of the Final Temple song from Legend of Zelda II.

That one is a tricky one. Like.... it's so odd that I don't really know what to do with it. It's hard to pin it down... Unlike the other temple music, which like, has that definate beat and stuff.

I'm not saying I won't do it, but it will be VERY tricky.

Once I get past the disturbing mental image of Carmen Sandiego sexily slipping off that big red coat she has, I'm liking most of it.

Some of your percussions sound a bit...strange? I can't quite place it, but it seems like the quality is low. But I suspect I'm just spoiled on OC Remix.
