Just prompting Mauve to toss in her final attack so we can wrap this up.
|
For some reason I keep thinking there are more than just the four of us playing. o_O I keep thinking, "Oh, it's okay. There are still a few people who haven't posted yet. I'm good." But NO! I'm the last one! :gonk:
Anyway. If that's too overpowered/godmoddy, let me know. |
I'm not sure it matters at this point, really. I mean, a little bit ago, I went "Oh, my new sword makes me glow so the darkness can't even touch me" and Arhra didn't bat an eyelash. I think we're all equally eager to finish this whole thing off.

So players are Phil, Mammoth, Flare, Mauve...
I do plan to return if Arhra says "Yes." |
"Yes."
As a matter of fact, I'm writing the Caryatid battle finale post right now. Kill Caryatid, escape the collapsing Temple, cutaway to what the League's been doing, where the League is explodes, back to NPFers, watch barrier explode, cut to Herald, Herald looks ominous, cut back to NPFers, something ominous happens. Simple really! |
Wow, and shadow jumping might be useful for the escape scene! I come back when I'm useful, yay!

Hello beautiful, unsuspecting people!
We have postage! Seeing we're moving on a reasonably tight schedule, I skipped over the details of the exciting escape somewhat. Feel free to invent all the lurid details you like. While we all know that the time when a comet hangs in the sky, threatening to extinguish all life, is the best time for side quests, I'll have to ask everyone to stay somewhat on task. Also, info on what the land is like inside the barrier in case you need it: The most important thing to know is space is all messed up in there. It's bigger than it should be and a straight line is not the quickest way to a point. The effect worsens over a distance. Still, if you keep walking towards something and keep it in front of you even as the place turns you around, you will get there. Similarly, ranged attacks are less than effective at any real range, although exceptionally powerful or lawful attacks can override this. It also feels incredibly ancient, is flat and barren aside from strange rails set in the ground that seem to almost make up a pattern that takes up the entire circular plain the Gate occupies and there's a number of very large, very deep pits (You can't see the bottom). Very desolate place. |
I'll let Arhra decide what level my wolves are.
|
Man, if you guys keep posting like this, I'm gonna have to post more than once a week.
|
Well, you've got a little time Phil.
I most likely won't be posting until Friday (That's Thursday for you people who are not in the future like me). The next two days are going to be a little... hectic for me. So yes, 48 hours from now. EDIT: That's strange Rhiya. I seem to remember the time whirlpool looked more like this. ... Stupid temporal paradoxes of mind breakingness. I mean, you should have seen what happened to KP's minion. Herself after she fell through the whirlpool turned up and stopped her from ever entering it. ... Stupid temporal paradoxes. |
