Starwars the force unleashed thread
i didnt see a thread up for this and i thought that this game should earn a thread here (i apologise if there is a thread here and the mods can do what thay want to me if there is)
starwars the force Unleashed is a game that will go into the history books. why? because the force you saw in the movies dont have anything on this for example in the movies force push moved someone 10 feet and thay just fall over in SWFU the force puch is like a personalized cannon to the chest not only that but thorwing a storm trooper into wood will not cause a generic wood brakeing thing. the wood will splinter ,metal will dent and bones will shatter to show my point ill post some vids vid 1 vid 2 the trailer enjoy edit:Unleashed is now correct |
I know I sound like a jerk, but PLEASE... work on your grammar and spelling.
It really makes your posts more interesting... and just plain easier to read. "lol hurrr!!!111!! thsi no skool lololol"* Yeah. Now it is. * Actually seen people say this. |
Having said thus, the game itself:
I've been waiting for them to make a third-person Jedi Ass Kick game since Jedi Knight II. That was years ago, and while Jedi Outcast was good, we're about due for a new one. And hell, here's to hoping for wii-mote controls. Imagine the fun. A gentle wave of the Wii-mote is how you Force Persuade in conversations. |
Bad news Mirai.
PS3 and (presumably) 360 only. I think the moment I became excited for this game was when the trailer showed Vader's Apprentice plucking a fucking Star Destroyer out of the sky. |
Sorry about the grammar. I was rushed, and my spelling thats a long story (contaning bad handwriting)
its multi platform (so you may get it on the wii... but i dont know) We know its going to be on the 360. DMM and Euphoria Engine is also going to be on the Indiana Jones game. i truly think lucasarts should give the engines to other places...dont you guys? |
I will lay down a ridiculously large government salary right now that it will not be on the Wii.
The Wii cannot handle the euphoria engine, simple as that. It can't handle Unreal 3, it definitely cannot handle euphoria. |
Actually DMM and Euphoria are quite significantly less demanding then graphics rendering. Textures, especially really high detail ones, and things like lighting effects and distant objects are very demanding because of the shear amount of data required to hold them. Computer AI is all text, lots of it granted, but still text. The DMM isn't much more, about the only problem is that it requires smallish polygons. It wouldn't be graphically amazing, and might even be a little sub par compared to other Wii games graphically speaking, but you could pack both engines onto the Wii just fine.
Also, who says the Unreal Engine can't fit on the Wii. That and everything else I've read amounts to the CEO of Epic not liking the Wii and so he doesn't want to bother cranking down the graphics part of the engine. Probably because Red Steel tanked which wasn't the Wii's fault anyway. Its actually rather ill conceived and I don't think it will hold up for very long. Especially if Lucas arts gives the Wii some Star Wars love. |
Damn you and your facts!
|
im not putting money on this game... as far as i coudl read about it, up so far they showed places were PARTS of the scenary were made with the Euphoria Eng.... everything else wasnt...
Sure, it can be amazing, but only if well applied and in large scale |
