What do you think will happen at the end of 8-bit theatre...I think it will switch to 8-bit theatre2 with the ff2 storyline with ff2 characters with funny gags...but what do you think...

I'm somewhat skeptical of the idea of Brian doing all Final Fantasy games. I'd guess that he's just going to do the original. However, if he were to do a sequel, I'd guess that he'd pick one of the more commonly known ones, such as 6 or 7, or his personal favorites, which I believe he mentioned somewhere as 4.

I dont think hell do FF7 and beyond. Just the sprite ones

This is an interesting thing to think about.. Maybe Brian'll retire? Maybe go to work on some of his other projects, other books? Or maybe he and Sosa'll get together and make a spin-off starring RM, with guest appearences by all the 8-bit cast! Think Frasier, but with more twinkerrific subjects!

I don't think it'd work. The strip is funny 'cause of the characters, which are original creations seeing as in FF1 the characters had no dialog, personality, whatever. In later final fantasy's, Square introduced the innovation of "plot" and the characters had personalities of their own, so it would get overly restrictive to do a comic based on them.

I'm fairly certain that Brian said that when 8-bit ends, he won't be doing anymore and will retire to work on other things.
