Play an instrument?

Just curious... And hoping you might post a recording? ;P

I play on a 1965 Karl Hofner viola, has absolutely beautiful tone. Took up cello for a while, using one from school... Didn't have much time to practice it though, so I have to stick with just viola =(

I play decently, but very shy when solo so... I don't want to post a recording =X

I've been playing the violin for 8 years. My brother plays the cello now. I don't exactly consider myself "good", just better than the freshmen :D

I'll post a recording on Monday, just to build your confidence ;)

Bass Guitar And I am Pretty good if I may say so myself...

I used to play the trumphet, but I haven't in years and don't have it anymore. I was pretty good to, just sort of dropped out when I moved to a new school in a new state, and it was a loan from a store, so to keep it we would have had to have payed a lot for it. I don't know though, I might be interested in taking it up again one day...

Ditto bass guitar, not very good, though. Never actually learned to play, just learned songs and tried to fall into a groove. Hopefully I'm doing it right. At least I can play the bass line to Super Mario Bros. 2. And some ska and funk.

I've played the clarinet since I was in 6th grade, and I think I am pretty good with it.

And I just started playing the oboe this year, and I think I'm doing fairly well for how little I've had the instrument.

I'll make a recording later, for these reasons
1. it's almost 1 am, playing an oboe or clarinet at 1 am doesn't go over to well here ^^;
2. My oboe is at school. ^^ heh

But I DO have a solo on my oboe on our coming up performance... I'm really worried, not only is it a performance, but it's a competition too...

I played a Clarinet a LONG tiem Ago... I was okay then i started bass once i inherited a bass of local legend from my uncle at his wedding, and now with my distortion pedal i can add to the band i play in even more... (i do to much i need to slow down..) whatever i do when i am preforming is remeber and old Bruce Lee Phrase "be like Water" flow let the music play through you... I hope that helps out...

I'm a vocalist, so my voice is a finely tuned intrument.

Well, finely tuned when I bother to warm it up and tune it before a performance, but any intrument is like that =P

I played the trumpet for a while, then I stopped, got boring. Now I'm picking up the violin, I do a little bit on the drums, and I'm gonna start getting some lessons on the bass.

Violin, nine years (sorry bob, had to one-up-you). I'm soloing with my (mildly-renown) orchestra (its a down year, though), which should be cool. I also am playing in Disney Hall this summer (boo-ya!). Unfortunately, I don't have a mic, or any good existing recordings of me... oh well.
