Single Player Game needed

I'm looking for a single player game, preferably roleplaying, that will eat my time up like a fat man in a taco factory. Yes, that was for you, tahr.

Any suggestions? While I know you can't get as good, Oblivion is a good example.

Before I start recommending stuff, I have to ask - What systems do you have? There's no point to me mentioning a bunch of DS games if you don't own a DS.

If you've got a PC that can run it/next-gen console, Oblivion will take you an age to complete.

I have access to a DS but it's hard. I've beaten oblivion many, many times.

I was thinking more of a 'go out and buy this and play it' game.

Uhh FF12 is great, i have 125+ hours in it and am not done with it yet. KH2 130 hours still not 100%. Disgaea 1 or 2, its a strategy rpg that has almost endless possibilities(a friend of mine has 600+ hours in one and 400 in 2)

All PS2.

Disgaea, Disgaea 2 or Makai Kingdom. Dont bother with Phantom Brave, it has almost no replay value.

Monster Hunter for the PS2. I have a PSP port of it and its damn good. 350+ hours and still no completion.

I cant believe I forgot Dragon Quarter. A fantastic SRPG that you have to play through multiple times to get to all the dungeons and cutscenes.
