Guitar Hero Moments (AKA: That Time I Failed Surrender On Easy)
 

This thread is for memorable times during Guitar Hero, good and bad.

Like the time I failed Surrender on Easy. >_>

Or the time I 100% Beast and the Harlot on Hard on my first try.

I'm stuck on Freya on Expert, yet I can complete harder songs like Misirlou and Beast and the Harlot... I WANT MY ACHIEVEMENTS :(

I cannot beat message in a bottle on easy, I have no freakin clue why.
The time I owned the guitar solo on coop on medium, this was my first time playing the song you see, so i am quite proud of myself. I can barely play medium and pass in the green

I cannot play Surrender on Medium.
I fail hard.

However, it only took me three times to finish Freebird on Medium, but only because my hand was tired from the songs before.
Now, I have no problem 4 starring it.

Hard-mode is hard for me. My hands aren't nimble enough to also play the orange.
Only song I managed to finish on Hard was Strutter. Which may have to do with the fact I really like that song.

You know what, after yesterday, when Rocks the '80s came out, I just gotta say:

Fuck you, Judas Priest and Extreme. Thanks for making impossible songs.

Me and some of my friends were having a small GH tournament. I was obviously expected to be the worst guy there since I had only just started on expert. However, my two favorite songs to listen to and to play, of all time, are Carry on Wayward Son and Take It Off.

First round, they say "Brad, you can choose the song." I choose Take It Off.

100% notes hit.

Next up, Carry On Wayward Son is randomly chosen, I score 100% again.

Then I'm in the "final." I get 60% notes hit on Arteriel Black, and lose badly.

Failed the goddamn easiest song (HahahNirvanaI'mSoTiredOfYou) in GH2 on easy AFTER I did most of Expert.

It's cause I fell asleep. D:

First time I used Hyperspeed, I apssed Freebird of Expert after many tries of being unable to.

The only hard FC I have is on Strutter.

Wow, my first time I played Free Bird on Medium I passed it. I don't own Guitar Hero or Guitar Hero II, so I was kinda wingin' it. I had also never heard the song before. And I mean, I'm not gonna start on easy because that'd look lame in front of my friends.

I've been playing Guitar Hero since II first came out and a friend showed me it. My girlfriend picked up Guitar Hero II for the 360 earlier this year, and she's just graduated up to Expert.

She is also a flaming My Chemical Romance fan, and so she is ruthlessly addicted to Dead!. She is also fiercely competitive.

Which is why it was so funny when she was beating me up with a pillow while I demolished her high score on Expert Dead!.

Beat Freebird on Expert on my first try, strangely. I don't know what happened. I also don't know how I beat Six - I mean, I can't even do it now. I don't understand.

You just gotta know what notes you CAN miss, as opposed to trying to hit all the notes.

If I try to hit them all, I fail horribly. XD
