Body is down, Mind still running.

Have you ever had that experiance where you want to do something, but your body is just too tired to let you do it?

There's many times when I want to read stuff, but I'm too tired to get a book, or what I want to read is on the computer/internet and I don't want to go to the computer to do it. There's other times when I want to play video games, but I'm in bed and too tired to go to a console, and even just using the DS seems like a chore, but my mind craves stimulation. It's like if I didn't have to exert physical effort, I would be so happy with it.

Sometimes I try to draw stuff in my mind, but then it just materializes how I want it, and I get bored because there's nothing challenging about drawing in my mind. :/

Been there. It kinda sucks. But sometimes its not that my body is tired it's that I don;t have the drive to do something.

I do that every wakeing moment of my life. Remember kids, being forced to lie in a bed all day and not be able to walk sucks.

I get that. But more often I have the opposite situation: Awake with a nervous energy, but nothing to do with it. I don't feel like reading or writing or drawing or gaming so screw it, I'm going to bed. But then...

Really, I just often feel at night that I'm wasting my time.

Occasionally, I want to write some poetry or a short story or other stuff. Usually it's because I'm not motivated enough, but occasionally it's because I'm too tired.

I thought this thread would be about stuff like the One video. But yeah, that happens to me sometimes. Just sitting at the computer, not really feeling like doing anything else.

Happens to me a few times, but the opposite also happens.
I.E. my mind is tired beyond exhaustion, but my body is full of energy.

that happened to me last night. I had been up on my feet all day filing papers and making copies, etc, but none of that was stimulating in any way. so my feet and back were achy, but in my head, I felt like it was late morning. That night, my brain was like "let's play!" and my body was like, "crazy kids. Some people are trying to rest, dontcha know"

Wait until you have to get in the vertical orientation again, that really blows. Your internal balance takes forever to reset and you get vertigo like mad.
