What's the other kanji beside the "nippon"?

Daer-San 03-01-2004 07:23 AM

Agh! I can only see japan kanji(s) (sun root) well anyway nice work...

Ren 03-01-2004 07:58 AM

That's not Kanji, that's the Utena rose. I've also got a shitload of other (tons of Invader Zim) stuff drawn and written on my sneakers. My masterpiece:

DOOOM!

Kewl. Too bad my sneakers are very multipurpose so I can;t vandalize them as much as I'd like to...

One of these days, you'll be reading the newspaper about how some crazy girl removed a poor man's ability to reproduce by shouting "KICK-DOKEN!" as she booted him in the nether-regions, and we'll all think back on this and wish we had done what we could to stop her before it became too late.

Also, the Gir is my favorite part.

You drew 'hon' wrong! The diagonal lines should be longer.

also, id just like to note that it's a common misconception that kanji are these huge elaborate things. If it's bigger than a line it's not a kanji. If it has lots of curves it's not a kanji. It's very easy to tell a drawing vs. kanji.

Yes! I knew it was the utena rose right when I saw it. *is a utena fan*

But those are awesome. Now I want a pair of shoes like that. ^^ I looove gir. But I think my parents would kill me if I did that to my sneakers....

Soon there will be a trend of all 8-bit people who saw this wearing "Kick-Doken"ed shoes. ^^ heheh.

I wasn't comemnting on the squiggly thing (yes, it's probably an Utena rose, but it still looks like a squiggly thing to me), by the way... It's just that when i saw the "Nippon" and a dot beside it, I was curious, because usually a dot represents a pause between two parts of a name, e.g. Mumei-Ryuu Ougi (dot) Shinbu Messatsu.

Ah well.

Ren 03-01-2004 09:38 PM

Ah. That's a dot kind of decorating some band names (Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Led Zepplin)...

On the kanji, yes I know I drew them wrong. I did the kanji in about 5 seconds with a fucking MARKER.
