I don't think I want to be tickled.

Jeneralissimo 08-04-2007 05:27 PM

Not by him, at any rate.

Anyhow, sorry, I just saw this thread. I will be praying for you. Doctors don't know everything; they just think they do. Stay strong. The forum is with you (and I can't think of people I'd rather have with me).

Not to mention that they have to say the bad stuff so not to get your hopes up. Never promise anyone they'll make it and all that.

I'm glad the forums could keep you this happy. Stay in good spirits and keep holding on man.

That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
and never stops at all."

Indeed. The doctors had all but given up on my aunt, but she pulled through, and even my very first doctor's first prognosis of me was that I was completely blind. Both of them were very wrong, so never give up hope.

Even if it seems grim now, if you keep your head up, there will be brighter times on the horizon. The best thing to do is keep hope and never give up.

I'm sorry I didn't post before, but I'll be praying for you, and I will continue to do so. Stay strong.

Its okay CelesJessa.

And still no news on either they can do anything. I am trying to keep up hope but as every passing day goes by I keep losing hope....

Whoa man, that's heavy.

All i can think of is to suggest you see how many achievements you can get here. Everything else literally gets pushed from your mind. Also, reading old Maddox articles is good for a chuckle.

I THINK okay I THINK this is what the doctor said.

Tuberculosis? I thought antibiotics could treat that?

Zoran 08-04-2007 09:58 PM

Remember the thinky part.
And if these doctors can't figure out that cure, then I will probably kill myself.

Wiki Information.

Most people are given routine TB jabs when they are children. In fact, I think it's actually compulsory although I'd have to double check that.

(Edit: Couldn't find anything about compulsory shots, but I know that during a certain stage of the 80's there was an outbreak and people were vaccinated.)

I remember we had TB testing when I was in school and they were worried I might have had it because they couldn't find the 'pin prick' scar from when I had the jab as a child. -_-

TB deaths, as far as I have read, are only common in 'developing countries' where medical aid isn't as readily available and they have weaker immune systems (and no drugs to boost them.)

If you seriously have TB, you can be treated. Unless you live in a developing country, which would mean you wouldn't have access to the interwebz.
