FF Systems
 

So, which do you like? My current favorite is FF9, because while each character has specific abilities, they can be customized to an extent. A blend of both worlds...

Mind you, the options are my own names for them. :D

I would vote, but you left out the best one...

HAIL TO FINAL FANTASY TACTICS, BABY!

The whole job system combined with the Zodiacs, individual stats, and the battle system in general puts it leaps and bounds over the other FFs I've played...which isn't that many, BTW. But it should still be up there...

job system b, baby, ffv is awesome. i'd go for ffx after that, even tho vi was my favorite of all time.

FF6 was easily the most convenient job/class thing.

I gotta go with Locke on this one. While VI is my favorite FF, V had the best levelling up system.

There as no FF:TA, which is my favorite job system, followed by FFT, also not on there. My third favorite is FFV, so I voted for that. My least favorite is a tie between VII and VIII.

RIGHT ON BROTHER! That was the first game to come to my mind when I saw the topic thread.

However, since it's not there, I voted for ff6, although I also appreciated the whole custom party diversity system, where everyone had their own unique abilities.

Jobs form FFT, or FFV, and FF9.

Wel, there was a maximum of ten choices, so I chose the mainstream FFs, 1-10.

I can't go with the job system on this one, in any of it's iterations. Being that you could only have so many abilities, and after a while you got your characters so that you didn't want to change them. Although I do agree the job system was one of the better ones, it isn't the best.

I voted for the materia system. I liked how different types of materia combinations could produce entirely different effects. Bah, I'm not very good at explaining my reasons.

I can't stand the Guardian System. You would spend hours drawing magic from enemies, and then everytime you used magic, you would only be hurting yourself.

The esper system was alright but that wasn't the whole picture. What I really liked was how each person was a class, with their own special ability. This is sorta like what MFD and Bizarro_Exdeath were saying.
