If you ran a major comic book publishing company, what would you do?
 

Like the title says. Assume you have been given free reign over either of the two major comic book publishing houses. Or I don't know, Image, if that's what does it for you. What characters would you do away with, which characters would you change, what of all the things you could do from your position of dictatorial power over the world of superheroics would you choose to make happen?

I would tell Marvel to stop making "Marvel Brand Toilet Paper" and "Marvel Brand Water" and shit. That's first on the list.

I would also get Image to force Matt Wagner to finish motherfucking Mage, already!

Okay now that I'm done with that...

Let's start by solidifying that (Cable/Deadpool spoiler) Cable's dead and making it "Cable and Bob," which is what they should have done last story arc.

Less Wolverine, please, and more Great Lakes Initiative crossovers.

And if I could have IDW while I'm at it, I'd like them to start exploring more areas of Transformers: Evolutions, because Hearts of Steel was fantastic and I want to see more. Also, when they introduce Grimlock, he had better be his comic book incarnation.

EDIT: Yeah, I'm not too big into comic books other than Transformers.

I'd replace all the characters with Wolverine.

i would have "X-men Vs God of War" series

because, really, i would liek to see Wolverine getting his ass kicked by Kratos...

Hmm i cant think of anything else ...now.

Like you'd have Wolverine dressed up in a Spiderman costume and running around pretending to be Spiderman, but he doesn't have any of the right powers and he can't come up with witty one liners so he just gets frustrated and angry and then Venom Wolverine attacks him.

That sounds like the greatest one-shot mockery DC could ever do about Marvel.

No more Deus Ex Machina

Wolverine would finally bite t.

Those who died, stay dead. A new character may take on the mantle of an old one, but that current one would not exist.

I would end all current universes in Marvel and start a new one.

Get rid of some characters (jesus do we need a dozen brothers of Cyclops)

Create new and original characters.

All death is permanent forever.

A comic may not exceed 300 issues. This counts all volumes.

I'd have Marvel and DC crossovers. Who doesn't want to see Batman fight Wolverine? It would be incredibly balanced - Deus Ex Machina out the yin-yang for both sides.

Also, a Deadpool movie. Or give Deadpool his own comic, instead of this Cable and Deadpool business.
