an electrician does the wiring in houses and building. an electronics engineer designs circuits and stuff and thus is able to fix tvs and such.

Once I go to college, I'm planning on dual-majoring in Computer Science and Computer/Electrical Engineering...i'd probably be able to fix my own stuff and maybe i could build a battlebot or something :D
