The Quest for the Final Summoning, Ch. 7
 

Chapter 7: "A Firey New Aeon."

After a while of waiting, Raine finally emerged from the Chaimber of the Fayth, looking fairly fatigued. After taking a moment to collect herself, she looked up and smiled at her Guardians.

(OOC: Ecurt's kinda in charge of what happens this chapter I believe, so feel free to PM me and tell me what I can do to help to get the action in motion, Ecurt)

Drake rose from his sitting position to greet Raine. "You recieved your second Aeon? Congrats!"

One step closer to bringing the Calm...hey, I wonder what Ripel's up to? He might hatch his 'plan' while we're in here. I'd better keep my guard up...

Goldy flapped up from his perch, and flew over to Raine's shoulder. Then continued his rubbing against her neck.

Rei grabbed the dragon, blinding it in the process, then dropped it on the floor.

"Interesting. So, do you talk to them? I mean, you probably can read their thoughts, but can they understand yours?" Brian asked. Hmmm... Wonder why I've never thought of talking to animals... Could I?

OOC: Come on, get mad at Rei for being so damn overreactive.

Drake truned to see Rei drop the poor lizard. "Hey! You didn't need to do that!"

He picked up the little thing and searched his pockets for some eyedrops. As it turns out, he didn't, so he just held the little thing while petting it. "Dang, man, you shouldn't be so paranoid. It's not like this thing'll hurt anybody."

Except you, after this encounter...

Goldy squaked half-heartedly.

Uran sighed. "Wow, I never realized some guardians were so angsty."

He leaned back forward. "It does get interesting. Mostly because they seem to be able to have a good hunch on me. And from what I know, these guys are some of the few fire lizards left alive."

"So do we take the boat to luca, or do we take the boat to Baaj.

Raine smiled a bit, "Thanks for the concern Rei, but I don't think the little lizard is going to hurt anything." She nodded then stretched, "So shall we get back outside? Our next stop is Baaj, I believe." she headed for the door of the antechamber, but right before she left she looked back, "Was I in there a long time again this time?" She asked, she always lost track of time when she was praying to the fayth.
