Rush Hour 3
 

Did anyone else go see this piece of garbage? I enjoyed the first two, but I feel seriously ripped off now.

Hey, I liked it, it was pretty consistant with the first two and showed further development between the characters. The story had a couple weak spots sure, but it was a good buddy action/comedy flick.

I'll be going to see it sometime.

I'm not expecting anything amazing. I'm just hoping its not a flop like 'Shanghai Knights' was to 'Shanghai Noon'. Rush Hour 1 and 2 were nowhere near amazing movies, but simply fun and funny movies. If you really try to watch them with a decerning eye, they won't be enjoyable and even I have tried to watch them multiple times and found on occasion I couldn't enjoy them some days. But other days, they are a riot and, especially the first times I saw them, they were GREAT.

So, I'm going to fully support Rush Hour 3 and at least buy one ticket so hopefully the series will continue on and they might get a fourth made. Seriously, I'm even amazed they made a third...it came out of nowhere!

Very laid back movie, and following what seems to be the usual Hollywood course: each sequel gets worse overall. I found Rush Hour 1 was great, Rush Hour 2 was okay, and Rush Hour 3 was...well, it had its moments, but I didn't feel like it earned my $11 fully. Definitely a renter, or a movie networker. While many of the jokes were solid, the movie seemed to seriously lack proper flow, and the story didn't seem 'complete' to me.

My recommendation is to not see it in theatres. If you must, see it with a bunch of friends while you're in a mood to laugh. Otherwise, wait until it comes out on video. It's not like you really need a big screen to enjoy this style of movie.

Geez, why are you people spending $11 on a movie!? I thought my movies over here were going up at $9.00 and I only live 200 miles from hollywood in the seventh largest city in America where Movie prices are suppose to be the most expensive. And not only that, I just saw a movie in Ontario last week, which is only 50 miles from LA, and it was only 4 bucks matanee.

Where exactly are you living where they can rip you off like that?

4 bucks?! The kids' price is twice that where I live! (meaning, the cheapest price available... I have to pay 10 bucks)

Anyway, I found that the movie was great where it was supposed to be: humour and action. The plot, however, was full of holes and was weak even where it made sense. Without giving too much away, I don't care how good Chris Tucker's character says he is at karate - he can't suddenly beat 6 chinese gangsters at once with only 6 years of practice.

...I loved a lot of scenes in the movie, though. The interrogation was great, the car chases were great, and the part where Jackie Chan claimed to be "half-black" was priceless. The new take on "who's on first" was pretty good, too.

This sounds like the kind of movie that I will fucking hate if I see it in theaters but will totally love if I catch it at three in the morning on HBO.

I cut myself now cause of the movie.

My local Theater costs $3.00 for the first two shows of the day, and $4.50 for the last two.

I'm debating on going to seeing this... Hmm... can't decide to see this, the Simpsons, Bourne, or maybe Stardust...

Any of those three before this one, for sure.

And ticket prices are ludicrous here, especially on Friday nights. Not much I can do about it, aside from never go to the theatre.
