#880: "Could have been clearing my throat."
Thing is, Thief would have said exactly the same thing had it actually been his allergies.
If he has any. |
I'm glad he used bastard because i was going to say something worse....

One of these days, she's going to realise they have no intention of saving anything, world or otherwise.
Then something bad is going to happen. Probably to Black Mage. |
Each of them have something to save, even if it's not specifically the world itself.
Fighter would save his friends. Thief would save his money. Red Mage would save his game. And as for Black Mage? He would save his virginity, even if he doesn't want to. |

Because honestly, White Mage killing him would probably do him a favor. The only thing greater than his own death is killing everyone and everything, save her, or a nice bit of sexing her. |
White Mage'll soon get completely fed up with them. Especially when she understands that it isn't their stupidity that stops them from saving the world, they just don't want to. :D

I like this comic. The dialogue is convincing, especially in the first two panels. It sounds like people talking to each other. Rather than characters spouting humorous monologues or random wisecracks at every turn I mean. Not that there's anything wrong with what I consider 8BT's greatest strength comedy-wise, but the variety is nice.
Yeah, and it's funny too. :) |

I agree about the dialogue. It's getting that believeable edge where it sound's like an old conversation you've had with your friends. One over which you bickered mercilessly and still managed not to kill each other. Good times. XD
The day White Mage discovers the Light warriors don't care about saving the world will be the day my parents discover I don't much care to do homework. They're practically the same thing! Endless toil for minimal gain and maybe a pat on the back. The other thing I don't understand is how in any storyline, the second I identify with a character, they then become the whipping boy. I swear! Twenty episodes later and they're either socially humilating themself, forced to wear a dress, or getting kicked relentlessly in the shins. And yet I don't change my mind. |
