Uwe Boll to Wired: "U FUKIN N00B!!1!1!!3!eight11!!!"
http://kotaku.com/gaming/hollywood/u...ers-289443.php
I love how incredibly immature and childish he is. The way he violently reacts, you'd think we killed his grandma in our review of his shitty movie. Normally this would cause a creative person to, I dunno, become better at doing your job, but I guess people just don't understand Boll. I sure understand him. He sucks. It's even funnier because apparently he's quite a nice guy in person. |
I too wanna bee Uwe! Teach me the way!.....
Really... this guy is a mess with a camera |
I really don't understand what Uwe Boll's problem is. He keeps getting bad reviews from practically everyone. Is it because a few people liked this one he thinks he ought to get praise from everyone?
I'm not saying I could really accept everyone in the world bashing my work with that much grace either, but... I think I could take the hint that I sucked pretty quickly. |
I hate Boll movies as much as the next sentient organism, but how do we know these emails are even from Boll?
Anyone could type up an email in broken English to make him look (more) retarded. I didn't look too hard for referencing, but it didn't seem immediately obvious on the site. |
The people at Kotaku had the same question--it's answered here.
|
Well it's not April 1st and making something like this up is libel.
Judging by Uwe's previous responses to the gaming community when asked about his "research" into the original source material, I wouldn't be too surprised.. |
Where, exactly is it answered? I actually followed that article and read it. I'm wondering how Wired News got hold of personal emails between Boll and his publicist?
Actually, that almost ensures the spoofiness of it. |
It's in the comments section at the bottom:
"I want to be clear as crystal on our procedure in this case: Wired magazine's fact checker confirmed that this came from the email address of record for Uwe Boll. Then, the editor of Wired News' security blog examined the email headers and found no evidence that the address was spoofed." -Chris Kohler |
I did see that also, and considered it. Wired News made sure that Wired News wasn't spoofing something.
Forgive my skepticism, but I rarely ever read something from Wired or Kotaku or what not, so I can't say I have any "faith" in their reporting. Do I think Boll is terrible? Oh yeah, for sure. I still have nightmares about Bloodrayne. Do I think he's hated enough to get trashed even further, even by reputable (or non-reputable, I don't know) Internet/business organizations? Oh yeah, for sure. |
Ignoring any sort of skepticism behind his e-mail trade with Wired, and let's just assume that it's all genuine so I can say...
The guy is a real dumbass. |
