#882: "That sounds reasonable!"

Fighter wasn't the only one to get severe head trauma. I'm just sayin'.

ZAKtheGeek 08-17-2007 11:08 PM

There's a text bubble pointing the wrong way.

I think.

Fifthfiend 08-17-2007 11:10 PM

Is there a form of trauma all four of them haven't experiened?

Yeah, seventh panel? I wasn't sure if that was an actual mistake or just me not getting something.

They haven't been here, have they?

Krylo 08-17-2007 11:13 PM

It'll be fixed and our posts will be edited or deleted, forever destroying any evidence that Clevinger made a mistake, before the night is through. I've seen it happen before.

I think that is another instance of Fighter showing that he is actually intelligent but fails to use his brain most of the time.

Rocketlex 08-17-2007 11:16 PM

If it is a mistake, it's almost funnier the way it ended up.

Kurosen 08-17-2007 11:17 PM

Technically, it was fixed before any of you posted. But sometimes it takes a minute for the server to calibrate itself from its home in the 38th century to our local time field.

Geoffron X 08-17-2007 11:23 PM

That certainly could not possibly be a witty coverup.

Joshua 08-17-2007 11:25 PM

Man, Brian's really dragging this little subplot as far as it can go, huh? It's been what, two dozen comics since Black Mage got Australia dropped on him? I kind of lost interest in the deal when White Mage reverted back to normal... so unpredictable. >_>

At least it looks like Thief will finally get the gang on a move on now.

nahmoss 08-18-2007 01:05 AM

Is there anything about Thief that isn't totally perfect? I'm sure he would say, "No, no there isn't."

TheDarkmage 08-18-2007 01:56 AM

Actually I think he'd say "We elves are perfect, and nothing is wrong with us, now give me a quarter for the copyright."

And once again Red Mage is Master of the Obvious.

Bob The Mercenary 08-18-2007 08:55 AM

We've spent quite a while on this one scene, as hilarious as it is. At least Thief's attempting to move the story along.

*glare*

Cyan60 08-18-2007 05:51 PM

Black mage will have his bloody revenge on fighter (and every thing else that exists) so may the evil gods have mercy when he does.
Is it wierd that when thief said "save the world" pfnx it looked like WM laughed?

Mirai Gen 08-18-2007 07:55 PM

It's not that bad. Story segments without plot progression have taken longer before, I believe, and this looks like the beginning of moving things along again.

Agreed. I didn't really find this subplot funny at all, maybe because I, myself, live in Australia, but it never really entertained me as some of the other subplots have. Im not saying I want the story to end, im just saying that SOME relevence to the story in these subplots would have been nice.

I used the word "Subplot" too many times there :shifty:

Kurosen 08-18-2007 11:19 PM

Bitch, bitch, bitch. ;D

Someone said my name three times, so I have to appear.

What the hell now!

Seriously, she's like Beetlejuice. In more ways than one.

jon12341 08-19-2007 12:03 AM

I wonder why sarda has not yet punished Black Mage for being in Hurt, Australia for too long yet?

aahz72 08-19-2007 05:36 AM

Cause he's still hurting?

Its because the worst he could do is send him there again.

L_Tiger 08-19-2007 02:43 PM

it's funny how Thief doesn't usually give a damn about their quest and then suddenly insists on starting to look for the orb when he notices there's no profit to be had around

MDude1350 08-20-2007 01:28 PM

That could also be a plot of Sarda: When Theif actualy tries to do something, he can be pretty good at it, you just have to keep him from being distracted by stealing.
