Have you ever been to a website and tried to register, but realized that Hey, look, your screen name of choice is taken? And it's the one you use EVERYWHERE (like mine)? So there's no real reason for it to be taken cause it's not common?

I found one like that on Radio Blog Club. Someone had RoyDMylote so I had to use my Roy_D_Mylote one.

That happened to my friend in World of Warcraft. He met the other person, but he was Horde and they were Alliance. Ass-kicking ensued.

And for me, whenever that happens, it usually turns out I already registered...

Also, is that why your username has underscores here too?

I very rarely bump into another PyrosNine, except once and that was with a space between the two. I will find alot of Pyros9's though, because you pick a simple one word name, and there will be Pyros1- Pyros21. And as you all know, I was originally just "Pyros" but Cendy beat me to it.

I usually find the offender and bludgeon him to death, but damn it, Us Pyro's are a fraternity of destruction. I can't harm someone who also enjoys burning down the house.

There's a guy named POS on ytmnd.com. He's a total dick (as per anyone on that place), but his sites do get a giggle out of me.

A few times actually, mostly when I was trying out different emails. Although it's not FBM, like it is here (coincidentally, I thought that "Friendly Black Mage" would've been taken already), I normally use "Infantry #4". I didn't think it was that common, but I guess I was wrong.

Only place you see me as Fenris is here and semi-associated sites (same people, mostly).

Everywhere else it's NuklearFenris. D'as right, first forum was here.

It never happens to me, seeing as my name is based on nothing but obscure latin. Ah obscure latin, how I love thee.

My base name is obviously hugely common. When I first joined here there was already a Hawk registered. Eventually fifth got the guy to change his name for me (he was a big time lurker so I guess he didn't mind).

In most cases if Hawk is taken I just go and add the "of Battle" addition to the end. I have yet to encounter another Hawk of Battle.
