OOC: Isn't Spark still at the blowing up site? Or at least not at Leo's garage?
OOC: IHMN is right. Lycanthrope, Spark is still at the crash site, and Leo is back at the garage. You can't be two places at once.
OOC: Sry, its confusing. Consider it corrected.
About this time, Soup's cell phone began to ring. He looked down at it and back over to Spark's body. "F** it!" He threw the phone, which shattered into pieces.
ooc: New chapter tommorrow night. we will have a funeral for Spark.
____________ Leo had sparks body cremated. It was all he could afford. Only yesterday Spark had been getting ready for the race. All of Spark's friends had shown up. The wake was held in the garage. It seemed the most fitting place. Leo was mostly inconsolible and stayed in a drunken stupor since last night. Shad had to take the body to arrange for transportation to the crematorium and bring the ashes back herself. It was late in the afternoon when everyone came boy to pay their respects. |
OOC: *Grumble* I'm not sure if I can make it tomorrow night... heading back home for break and not sure if internet is still up or down...
Anya had come to pay her respects to poor Spark... he had given his life to save hers. She wiped away tears with the back of her hand... Anger, sadness, regret, were all welling up inside of her. "It's not fair... I'm the one it was after... I should have been the one to die..."
Requiem sat quietly next to Leo nursing a bottle of whiskey staring at the urn with ashes within it. He raised the bottle up to the urn. "Here's to you Spark. I hope you find peace in the world beyond or what ever is after death." He took a large swig from the bottle. It was pretty obvious that he had been drinking the entire night. His hair was haggard and his clothes were ruffled.
Chris would have been drunk with Leo and Requiem, but he thought it would be better for him to stay sober. He walked up to the pile of ashes, but couldn't think of anything to say. He hadn't said anything after Spark died, it was if his voice was gone.
Shad stepped up beside Anya, slung her arm around Anya's shoulders, and squeezed gently. "And I should have been there to help. Don't beat yourself up about it, should haves don't help anything. Besides....it was his choice. It wasn't forced on him in any way."
