I don't think Fighter's brain was actually rebooted, but rather he can now comprehend what BM has been trying to do to him all these years.

Another fun fact: I resisted calling this one "1, 2, 3, 4, I declare a Scanner war."

There's nothing wrong with a couple of hundred knife-wounds to the brain that you can't fix with one more knife-wound to the brain.

I think we are at a crucial turning point, similar to the class change. BM is going to regret this particular stab wound. It also fits into the story. They have been waiting at this one spot forever now, and we are about to see what fate (Brian) was keeping them (and us) there for. Fighter might suddenly realize that his compatriots are evil incarnate and confront them.

And did he just seriously threaten to kill WM to her face? He was always evil to her, but it was an eager, perverted evil. Now he actually seems to be simply cold and ambivalent towards her. Has he finally given up?
