Boy draws gun, gets BANT from school(Temp-BANT, actually)
Yeah...
Considering it's literally just a gun drawing and nothing else... I smell shit. And a bull may or may not have made it, all on the part of this school's administration. |
What the hell? At first I thought it meant he had drawn it as in pulled it out or something. Sketching a gun is worth a suspension? That's just fucked up.
|
I thought you meant drew a gun like in a shoot out... this is a load of bullshit. People need to take a moment and think before becoming complete assholes. The kid drew a gun, gee whiz imagine that. I'll bet he drew cars and planes too, OMFG!! He's gonna blow up a car or crash a plane! Stuff like this makes me glad I'm not in school anymore and don't have to deal with this level of crap.
|
I for one am proud that school administrators are alert enough to catch these future murderers and terrorists before they're able to carry out their foul ambitions.
Also, "Bant" is bugging the hell out of me. |
As much as I want to be outraged and horrified, and come up with some condemning speech, all my mind is saying "Hee hee hee, sucker!"
|
Yeah, the kid did get a 3 day vacation.
Can you also change the spelling on the title, it hurts my brain. |
Actually, the kid probably got the best of it. It's not like he'd have to deal with angry parents or anything, and most of the teachers would probably be sympathetic and help him out.
|
Yeah, my art teacher used to give me some crap cause I drew like Big Boss taking out some enemy commandos and I was like, "STFU n00b".
He had less problem with when I drew Samurai and crap... |
What...the...hell?
This makes me glad that my partner and I are planning on sending our future children to private school. Public schools are too full of teachers who go "ZOMG, Columbine!" when a student sketches a gun while ignoring the real issues that precipitate tragedies like Columbine. |
Wow... overreaction, much?

I would feel sorry for the kid, but he's getting three days where he doesn't have to be in a place where doodling gets you in trouble. I hope he enjoys his time off, and that he and his friends laugh about this for years to come. |
