"...better than nothing, I suppose...anyway..." Damn, she changes gears fast. Better than her crying, though. He got up, tossed her the gown, and sat down in a chair facing away. "Tell me when your decent."

She sat there, staring at him and then had an evil thought. She started biting the bottom of her lip as she thought about it. She then threw the nightgown over his head and laughed. She started taking off her coat.

(We just have a page-long unbroken conversation. Hell yeah.)

"What the..." He quickly pulled the gown off of his head and turned around to find Lucretia undressing. "He...did I miss something here? Weren't you getting ready to go to bed....oh....I....hmmmm....You, my friend, are the master of the unexpected."

She started laughing and walked over to him as he sat on in the chair, and then sat in his lap. She was still wearing a poet shirt and her pants. She stroked his cheek and smiled. "I may need some help with this shirt."

Hikiro glanced around still wondering what the hell just happened "Ah when do we get to the indiscriminate killings?"

Kyoji rushed down to the cabin. He threw open the captain's door, making it bang against the wall, and stopped dead, seeing Lucretia (half topless) and Kane (taking care of the other half). For a moment he just stood with his mouth open. He quickly regained his composure.
"The closest ship is trying to flag us. If we don't signal back soon, which we won't, they'll open fire the second they come in range. We need to go now."

"See? I told you a ship next to a pirate stronghold wasn't the best place for this! But no! just had to go convincing me the oth....never mind. Ok." Kane tossed Lucretia's shirt back to her. "Get dressed. We'll hold down the fort, so to speak, until you get on deck. Then the ship's yours." Kane rushed out of the room with Kyoji. "Ok, where's the ship, and how big is it?"

"It's just a clipper. We could take it in a straight fight, but if we open fire, we're screwed anyways. The rest of the fleet would redouble its efforts and make it here in less than an hour. We have to take the whaling boats," Kyoji explained.
"Only one of them is ready to go in the water, so go get them on it and headed toward the island. You start getting the other ready. I've got to go get some stuff from the hold," he said, turning back towards the hold and rushing down the stairs.

She watched as the two left the room.... Someone always has to come and ruin all my fun. She started buttoning her shirt back up and grabbed the sward that was on the wall. I might get some use out of this.

Kane made his way as quickly as he could to the helm. "Get the boats ready!" He turned the wheel sharply until they were heading towards the island. "We're going to get as close to the island as we can before we jump ship. Get ready for a chase."
