She grabbed her sward..... and made her way up to the main deck. She walked to Kane who was at the helm and clamly sat on the steps, staring at the sun, not saying a word.

Partially leaning on his sword, Kane said “You want to take control, or should I keep going?”

ooc: you know, in the 18th century, they had no set grammer or spelling rules... so, i'll spell sward however i damn well please!!! wow, that sounded mean... *huggles stover*

ic: She closed her eyes as she leaned back. "Kane, do as you wish. I could care less."

(Heh, I was just kidding with you. But hey! Whatever works.)

"...Ok..I think I'll stay here for a while, then. But do you think you could...you know...not lay on the stairs while we're getting chased by pirates? We can talk or do...other things later, but we need to make sure we're alive beforehand."

"Well then!! Let us slay some pirates" she said as she quickly stood up and grabbed the helm.

Hikiro grinned evily and placed a hand on the hilt of his sward (OOC: sorry stover your a minority now :P) "finially we get to the part I like: stabbing, slashing and generally making a right mess of your enemy"

"Ha, that's the spirit! Let's go get us some pirates." She laughed a bit and ran to the helm, taking it from Kane. "Excuse me Love, I'm going to get meself another ship."

OOC: This coming from the guy who spells "guard" as "gaurd". =P

IC: "We can do that on the island! Unless you're planning on having a swordfight with a cannonball, then we need to jump ship now," Kyoji said, coming back up from the hold carrying two barrels of provisions. He hefted them into the boat that hadn't been lowered, and turned to the crew.
"Come on, we need to let them find a ghost ship. Otherwise, they'll just have to settle for making it one, and something tells me that they wouldn't mind that."

"Sure! Why not! I'm up for anything!" Lucretia said. She then turned to Kyoji. "And you can go in my cabin and get my bags. Yes, i brought my bags aboard the ship when we jumped it." She then wrapped her arms around Kane and whispered in his ear. "Be afraid, be very afraid."

Kyoji's eye twitched a little.
"Why don't you make your lover fetch it? That's what girlfriends do, right? I'm not your butler, babe," Kyoji said cooly (is that a word?).
"I will help you into the boat though," Kyoji said, holding out his hand to Lucretia, "Ladies first."

"Don't you worry, Lucretia, I've been afraid of you for quite some time." And then to Kyoji: "Hey! There is something in my eye!" and stealthily flicks him off.

She laughs and grabbed Kyogi's hand, then twirled into his arms as if she was dancing. She then whispered. "Oh, but you know you want to get them." She then walked away to the small life boat and jumped in, seating herself in a comfy position.

Hikiro stood back with his arms crossed a slightly irritated look on his face. "may I remind you that pirate-riddled death is bearing down on us as we speak. I mean with careful planning and timing I could dispense with all of them but under the captain's current orders I think we should get moving"

ooc: I'm gonna change my guy's name to Koji. Sounds cooler.

ic: Koji sat in his hole, feeling very alone and thinking about what he should do if he ever got of the island. Definately no more sneaking, unless it was for money of course. Maybe he could become some sort of assassin, or maybe a ninja. He started to fall asleep because of all the thinking. Pretty soon, he was off in his own little dream world, not caring about what was going on around him.

(Might want to rethink that, considering there's a Kyoji.)

"I doubt we'll be jumping ship for a little bit. They aren't that much faster than us, and we're burning to the island as fast as we can go. Once they start shooting at us, we drop a boat on the opposite side and blow the powder magazine, and hope they think we went up with the ship. And then we hope that I don't drown after we flip the boat. Broken leg makes swimming difficult, you know."

Lucretia lays down in the boat and notices something touching her hand. She pulled it out from under one of the seats. Rum! She gave a smile and opened the bottle. She then started to drink it down, trying not to pay attention to what everyone was talking about.

(Dot dot dot)

"I see these pirates came prepared....don't drink that, we'll be swimming shortly." Kane tossed his bag down into the boat. "Kyoji! Hikoro! I think I'll need some help setting the fuses."

Lucretia looked at Kane with a devilish grin. " Don't tell me what i can't and can do! I'll do whateverrrr we damn well pwease." She hic-uped and giggled a bit, then handed the empty bottle of rum to Kane.

(Enjoying yourself, I see...)

OOC: Muhahaha! She's gonna make it very difficult for you guys.

"Come now, Kaney-pooh, let's get to the island and find a lil' spot alone. Right.... yes.... haha!" She then laid back down on the floor of the boat.

ooc: Grrrrrr, my name. Besides, I think we'll be able to tell the difference.

Hikiro cringed and went to assist Kyoji with the fuses "this will be most interesting, if not annoying." He glances back at Lucertia "and at the moment I'm seriously contemplating taking my own boat"

"Hey, I brought that for personal use, don't touch anymore of it!" Kyoji said, snatching the bag from under Lucretia's head (which still had several bottles of rum left in it).
"Maybe if you ask nicely, we can open another bottle when we get there, but I was planning on saving it for the victory celebration," Kyoji continued, "but if you keep this up now, we're not going to be able to have one, catch my drift?" He pointed to the fast approaching clipper which had stopped attempting to flag them.
"Please, let's just go quickly and quietly. I've no plans on dying at sea, especially to a faceless pirate cronie. I've got shit to do at home," he said. He turned to Kane and Hikiro, "You guys take the other boat, I'll be able to move this as quickly as the two of you and the others (OOC: ie; Rhuhael and JarysM, cuz they disappeareded :p ). The boats already in the water, just hop in and go." He took off his red and white stripped bandana and wrapped it around his hand, grabbing on to the the rope which held the boat up at the side of the ship. He turned to Lucretia.
"Brace yourself beautiful, I'm dropping us into the water... now." He loosened his grip on the rope and the boat began to fall quickly towards the water.

lucretia screamed and clung to his leg. "Oh my good lord! I just remembered! I'm afraid of lifeboats!" She screamed as her nails dug into his leg until they hit the water. She looked up to Kyoji and her eye started to twitch. "I think you should've brought along a lot more rum...." She then started to get sick from the fear of being in the lifeboat..... it was almost like a phobia for her.... something that happened in as a child made her terrified.

(Wait...I was wrong, update momentarily)

"Right, fuses set, 15 minutes tops....and what the fuck...?" Kane asked as he hobbled over to where the boat was. "Couldn't you guys wait for the guy with the broken leg? I'd really appreciate it..." Then seeing Lucretia clinging to Kyoji. "Oh for the love of God, she's not afraid of swimming is she?"

"Come now luv, nothing to be afraid of here." Li did a flip into the boat and landed elegantly in the middle. "See? Stable as a rock."
He went to sit down and caught his foot on a knot. He then fell over backwards and landed with a loud sploosh in the water.

Her eye started to twitch again. She looked back up to Kyoji. "Of all the crews in the world, i get stuck with this one. Well, go help him out of the water, i'll just stay here. It's a nice spot anyways. you know, a good distance from the water, right in the middle.... yes.... very good."

"...well, I guess that fear was unfounded...right. Ok...let's see how this works..." Kane attached his sword to his back, his pack over the sword, made himself ready, and jumped off into the water. He surfaced a few moments later, "Hey! Swimming with a broken leg is hard! Didn't know that before!" And he began to swim as best he could toward the lifeboat.

Kyoji grinned at Lucretia clinging to his leg.
"Don't worry hon, I promise not to let anything happen to you. I'll watch out for you," he said, smiling at her.
He sat down and paddled the boat over to Li.
"Grab on, we need to get you back to the other boat. This one is filled to capacity with all the stores and Lucretia and I. You and the others haul ass to the island. We can even make a race out of it!" Kyoji said, grinning.

Li hauled his dripping carcass up and grabbed on. "Righto" He coughed. "I think you'll win it"

Kane grabbed onto the rail of Li's boat, and then onto Li's shoulder, and flopped up as gracefully as a walrus. "Woo, right. At least my leg doesn't hurt a whole lot. Either way," he said, emptying his boot of water, "we really should begin, you know, hauling ass because that other ship is going to start shelling in any moment, and the magazine is going to go up in 10 or so minutes.

"And I don't want to be here when that happens."

In a blaze of water magic powered annoyance Hikiro came practically screaming along in his boat past the other two in a defiant stance that said don't you wish you could do this?

"Hey, magic is cheating!" Kyoji said, picking up his oars and turning the boat around. He began to paddle towards the island, slowly now, to keep an eye on the others. He turned and looked at Lucretia over his shoulder.
"How're you holding up so far, cap'n? Not giving the sharks chum yet, I hope?"

"So Li, think he's," motioning to Hikiro, "is compensating for something? Eh? Eh?...right. Ok, lets roll." Kane sat on one of the benches, and began rowing.
