The Adventures of Pete and Pete

I was browsing amongst the forums and happened to click a link in Giever's sig which happened to take me to a google video of The Adventures of Pete and Pete, namely the municipal pool episode.

It reminded me of how awesome that show was, from the catchy theme song, to the crazy plots, to the effusive characters.

The Adventures of Pete and Pete, best show ever?

Best show ever.

Pipe! I had forgotten that show existed!! Maybe not the best show ever, but certainly one of the best shows ever.

Farewell, my little vikings!!

I know I'm not the only guy here who thought Ellen was totally hot.

Anyone know the band behind the theme song/the name of the band, by the way?

I really enjoy the music.

No need for thanks. Any idiot could use Wikipedia.

I always preferred Eiree Indiana when I was a lad. Pete and Pete was pretty cool even if I was a bit old for it I think.

You're never too old for Pete and Pete. It's so surreal, like a parody on a childhood that we only wish we had. Each instance of childhood shenanigans increased to epic proportions and told as though it were a story of life and death, love and betrayal. That's what makes it great.

My favorite character, basically in any show ever, was Artie.

The strongest maaaaaaaan.....in the world.

I liked the one where they tracked down the icecream man who had gone missing. Classic times.

I like the road trip episode. That battle at the end to see who has the highest stack of luggage on top of their station wagons was so funny! Or at least according to my memory it was, I need to watch it again.
