Wait wait wait... wouldn't instantly freezing him without an action post from be godmodding? I just wanted to point that out.

Not if you ask Krylo first in IMs.

Also, it's not like Jack is a PC, and it's not like the spell isn't possible to easily break out of. Exthermiate is instant, and doesn't have a projectile component. How would you dodge it? Edit: Just to throw this out there, in case I actually use it on a meaningful opponent (not bloody likely), but the spell starts out with virtually no power. You could probably step through it with only a little strength, but it'd gradually get worse if you remained there until it was as dangerous as the best of 'em.

Isn't a character controlled by a person a PC? Whether or not they're a secondary I believe.

I gotta remember to start adding the GM to my buddylist when I join a RP. always a good way to discuss things.

not that it works with PF of course

No.

Uhhh... I believe a character controlled by a person is a PC. Hence why PC means "Player Character". If it was run by you I could see how it would be an NPC.

In no way am I insulting you but how is that character not a PC?

I don't consider him a PC. I figure the ONE in connection gave me some insight and direction into close characters. I like to think of him as a reacurring NPC character. Again I just need him to survive up to the day of battle. A major part of my ture character development hinges on him. At the battle I couldn't care less about him.

A PC is your main character (But you can have more than one). Jack however is just some guy Triem made up for his PC to interact with, so it's just a player created NPC.

Continue arguing and the Doppleganger will also be an NPC.

In NO mood.

Future Reference: When the GM uses a one word post, it means shut up and sit down.

But if that's true then it shouldn't be possible to pull people out of thin air to kill off other PCs.

I would try to get more involved in the game if you would answer my IMs for insight into a few things.

I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, believe me.
