#886: "Fighter's clumsy, everyone knows it."
I regret nothing!
All I want to know is where the hell you pulled "Standard 4-D Sterankoverse" out of.
BUM BUM BUUUM!
Fighter remains super smart, yet he no longer knows how to wield swords? He just... isn't the fighter I know anymore... |
Wait, I'm confuzzled. Double confuzzled.
Did Fighter retain his newfound intelligence but lost his sword-wielding abilities, or vice versa? |
His sword-fighting won the day, as it always does.
Fighter pretty clearly states that the smarts didn't stand a chance against the swords in the battlescape of his mind.
Fighter is an incredible person.
Something of a shame, really. I'd hoped the gag would go on a little longer than it did. Particularly to see what Red Mage's reaction would be to having an intellect greater than his own within the party. To be honest, I was expecting another stab in this issue, to be delivered by RM... who might, for his part, have received another ninja-kick from Thief. I'm satisfied, though.
It would have been fun to see that battle between Fighter's smarts and his sword skills. But you'd have had to hire Jim Steranko to draw that, huh?
Amazing comic, but the last few panels pretty much fried what little intelligence I had left....
