What does Black Mage think about Red Mage?
 

Does he like or dislike the young man? Or is he perhaps even... indifferent?

Is there anyone Black Mage doesn't have either A) an all-consuming hatred for or B) intense sexual desire for? I'm fairly certain... by which I mean I hope... that Red Mage would fall into the first category. :sweatdrop

By the way, you wouldn't happen to use the username "Dr. Casey" on any other sites, would you? To be more specific, does the acronym "LTU" hold any meaning to you?

Black Mage would love to see RM choking on a rather large mouthful of electric death, but I think he's so obsessed with his wild hatred for Fighter that he can only see clear to murder others when it's particularly convenient.

Indeed, I use this moniker at dozens of other places. As for LTU... it stands for Long-Time Users, that special little forum I've been posting at since the age of 14. Who are you, Darkly?

I would derive more pleasure from a game of Twenty Questions over the matter, but I suppose I'll have to get over it. This time. I am warriorofz, and I was unaware that you, too, are a fan of 8BT.

On topic, however.

I'd say that aside from the obvious stuff - burning loathing hatred and such - he probably looks at Red Mage with an eye full of "You are so incompetent" as well as "Jesus Christ you're weird."

Although Thief did recently mention how he doesn't have transvestite urges and that it's just Thief messing with his head, so maybe it's not so much that as "You are so gullible."

I'm actually fairly sure That BM thinks of RM as his closest peer within the magical community, much like Thief is his peer in evil.Doesn't stop him from hating him for being a crazy mage with a weak sense of reality, just like he hates Thief for being a royal dick and Fighter for existing.

In theory, the two have the best relationship out of the light warriors, as we never see BM having idle chat with Thief or Fighter, as BM only speaks to the leader to either criticize or make an observation, or make a demand. He doesn't talk to fighter, rather Fighter talks to him, and BM will reply a few times before he makes an attempt to kill.

Yet with RM, they will discuss magical theory, comic book theory, and quick routes to power (with BM being the straight, by the books mage, and RM being highly theoretical in all things) in their spare time.

So there's at least somethin' there. I mean, the only deep relationships of trust and meaning in 8bit theater were between WM and BB, which is now somewhat finito, and then there's the relationship of Bahamut and Matoya, which is in itself and abyss that looks back and asks you if you want to join in. Creepy Draco/Senile-philiac weirdos!

However, I don't think he really hates fighter, he just annoy BM so much that he resort to violence, which any character can do in 2 seconds even by doing nothing. They are best buds, remeber? :D

Thief, he really hates for beeing an evil manipulative jerk. He's even on the top of BMs death list.

I don't think BM really dislikes RM (at least, no more than he despises all of creation), but he certainly doesn't hold any of the respect he seems to have for thief.
