Oh, the one you put up about the GGXX and MvC2 machines I didn't quite get, but it had something to do with 3-D, and SCII not being something compared to those others. Although I do agree, I prefer Guilty Gear to SCII.

EDIT: *offhand* I've always wondered why guys play DDR more than girls. Every time I go to an arcade, I ONLY see guys dancing on the machines..... So I have to go play DoA or SC2 while I wait. ^^;; |
In my country, DDR is passe. Now, everyone plays Para Para Revolution, the game where you flick your hands around to score points. Blech. DDR was better. At least you could see the footwork and skill. Paranoia Euro Remix Invisible and Reverse, anyone?
|
Actually, ignore that list... I have even more languages (Including some asain ones for Dante, but no kanji). Most will be bad (Meaning literal) translations though.
And I think guys play DDR because they think it is a 'work out' (Lazy people), or they think it will help them pick up chicks some how. (In the US) |
Probably the same reason why they play it over here. In the end, people are all the same...
Ah well. Chinese I can handle, Japanese is much harder, and Thai/Korean/any dialect will kill me right off. Except maybe Cantonese. We've been insulting each other in Cantonese for so long you can pretty much guess what it means... |

Or maybe girls are just too self-concious to get up on an arcade game and dance where everyone can see them... Most of my friends (who are girls) DDR, but hardly any of them are comfortable with DDRing in an arcade... *shrugs* I love dancing in the arcade because 1. sometimes it's fun when people are watching, unless you screw up really bad. or 2. because the at-home version is nothing like the real game. Anyhoo, enough about DDR. How often is IHMN's guy (can't remember his name) going to actually speak english? (heheh I could make Jill speak "Hutt" from Star Wars, my brother has a English-to-Hutt phrase book somewhere.... ^^;; hehe) |
If everyone suddenly and mysteriously starts speaking an odd language, I'm saying right now, I'm speaking in Swedish Chef.
Und iff yuoo dun't theenk I cun du it, joost try me-a. Bork Bork Bork! Also, it would be very slow if you spoke hutt. I tried to find an online translater and couldn't, so you would have to look it up word by word... |
I wouldn't DDR, it seems boring (And yes I have before). If I did, I would purposely go over to the other persons side and mess them up (Or just push them). That seems more fun.
And here is how I see it. Guys = Idiots, do not mind being made a fool of (Though will get bashed heavily by other guy friends). Girls = Not idiots, do not like being made a fool of/part of a joke. So no DDRing since chances of messing up are high. And Dent (That is what he was named) will randomly speak english when I feel like not translating something. |
After a while, it gets to the point where the only unique guy is the one who speaks plain English...
EDIT: Blarg, IHMN posted and messed up what i wanted to say. Ah, DDR is good for either gender as long as you're good at it. |
