I'm playing FF1 right now on my computer (emulator) and it's an awesome game. Has anybody else played FF1?

im on the middle of playing it. and i agree it is awesome.

I just beat Astos, he was weak. What was bad though, was that he used rub on my Thief, so Thief was out 700 Exp.

...Hmmmm, we are all on a site with a webcomic roughly based on FF1. I'd say that the probability that at least SOMEONE here has played FF1 is pretty high.

Im playing it on emulator too. My blackbelt got stoned when I was training on the eye a few times and is 5000 exp off. Man, you'll be so pleased when you see how powerfull your characters turn out. Enemies that took you five minutes to beat will take one or two hits from your mages!!! I'm currently training on the 1000 hp warmech, the second most evil enemy in the game (he can cast nuke a lot, my bm can only do it twice). Oh, and don't believe any of the guids that tell you to level up past level 24 untill you beat Kraken. I beat lich at level 15, kary at level 19 and beat the castle of ordeals at level 20. And research the names of these locations and enemies if you dont know what Im talking about.

I knew that, I'd just like to know how many people.

I played it a million times! With most parties! In all forms! I know everything about the game!

So, y'know. You won't have any questions, but if you do, I can answer 'em.

I can probably get within 10 hp's of every monster you fight, tell you their spells, weakknesses, way to avoid them... Strengths and costs of weapons and armor. Path through mazes. Whats in what treasure chests. Anything.

So... yeah.
I've played it before.

I've tried to get a good ROM of FF1 several times, but it always glitches up so I can't save. That, and I'm too cheap to buy Origins.

Do you know where I can find any good knives for my BM at Level 10?

you got the mystic key yet?

There's a silver knife guarded by wizards beyond a locked door at the deepest level of the marsh cave. (You're strong enough to kill wizards and get the crown now. They are weak against LIT2. Sort of.)

Or there's one in the dwarf cave, along with a ton of other badass stuff.
