PF, remember that Vlad will be influencing the battle so as little enemies as possible actually target Asid.

Figure that wouldn't be very hard with Ogres and Orcs. Just mind tell them to not target the girl, and they just switch targets because their stupid.

PhoenixFlame 09-02-2007 05:00 PM

Ah, yes. I forgot about that. >> Of course, I'm the logical target within range.

We'll assume this guy is a particularly intellegent ogre who's now particularly extra crispy.

IHateMakingNames 09-02-2007 05:01 PM

Well, Vlad is a fair distance away. It's reasonable he may miss a few ogres.

Edit - Hopefully krylo will soon post as to why these Ogres and Orcs were actually a threat.

Funka Genocide 09-03-2007 01:55 AM

hey guys, was waitng for Krylo to update, then got dragged away into the weekend. I'll post something tomorrow around lunchtime. Sorry for being all MIA and such.

Demetrius 09-03-2007 09:57 AM

People using mundane weaponry would do well to remember that these are ogres, not orcs and as such have insane regeneration. Leaving one with a smashed skull behind you is asking to get killed from behind.

Those are trolls, dear.

Ogres don't regenerate quite so much. They're just really tough. Not like, re-construct their skulls and brains tough. (which Trolls tend to do)

Aerozord 09-03-2007 01:48 PM

so you know, if I dont post today I will do so tomorrow night. We are doing a family thing today and tuesdays are always busy for me.

Demetrius 09-03-2007 06:01 PM

PF, what on earth are you talking about? I see no such post of mine with that info in it.

Funka Genocide 09-03-2007 06:36 PM

You know what? That paladin guy smashes faces good!

I really liked that post for some reason, give a real sense of a singleminded crusader, burning out eyeballs and such.

I wonder what's next, is that rampaging destructo-troll going to show up? I'm thinking that would be a bad thing. These ogres are pretty much big, hairy target dummies though.

Akamaz 09-05-2007 11:22 AM

so Krylo, did you get a chance to take a look at the fleshed out SKitterleap?

IHateMakingNames 09-05-2007 11:40 AM

If it wasn't obvious, Krylo has either died, stopped caring about NPF, or is otherwise delayed.

Krylo 09-05-2007 03:30 PM

I died. It's ok, though. Someone cast life 2.

Also, Skitterleap is ok, now.

Akamaz 09-05-2007 03:37 PM

cool beans.

/em runs off to check up on the thread

IHateMakingNames 09-05-2007 03:39 PM

Well that isn't good. Life 2 doesn't fully restore HP, meaning you are injured.

Also, I haven't posted yet, but Luma's character will also be avoided by Ogres via Vlad.

Edit - Though now that he's protecting two of them, even better chance of some strays getting through.

Krylo 09-05-2007 03:40 PM

New post. I know my transitions suck terribly, but I'm on lunch and didn't have much time. Live with it.

Demetrius 09-05-2007 03:46 PM

Just a reminder on the stats for the battle.

A normal plain run of the mill ogre is sitting on Melee 6. I don't remember everyone's melee stats, but I remember a fair number of people with 6 ranks...

As for Freeny, he's no fool, his ass is making full usage of his stealth for the time being.

IHateMakingNames 09-05-2007 03:50 PM

All of the PC stats are listed on the second page. Which I will be adding the new two character to now (Along with the other lists I made).

Oh, don't get me wrong--the people killing them CAN do so. With about the ease that they are. It's just that there's a lot of them and a whole battle raging about them... and it seems no one is really paying attention to not getting killed, just killing things themselves... so I added in a bit of the ogre's strength and what have you.

Edit: Oh, and Arhra, on the iron thing--only the true fae are affected. Faerie dragons et. al. are not.

IHateMakingNames 09-05-2007 05:12 PM

Lume, I think an Ogre really would have just beaten Dagan to a pulp while he sat there changing.

Why wouldn't he start as a werewolf anyway?

Lumenskir 09-05-2007 05:12 PM

Hope the healing factor stuff is reasonable. I figured that if I just let it go to waste it'd be wrong.

Also, is Werewolf-Dagan, on a pure strength level, greater than/equal to the ogres?

IHateMakingNames 09-05-2007 06:05 PM

Also, because Misere entered the battle, human forces would now actually be aiding the suicide group (At least anyone near her). Being part of the royal family means they can't let her die (And can't risk killing her in any sort of betrayal against the non humans).

Red Mage Black 09-05-2007 08:28 PM

I don't know if I'm out of this yet... but if I'm not the question from a few days ago still goes.

Krylo: Is it okay if I wait until after battle and acted out a scene placing a contract to kill them all? I'm sure if they didn't go by Astidus's direct orders he'd be pretty pissed seeing them survive.
