Ok so long story short, I haven't been home for a few days and as such haven't been posting. However I have many hours until work tomorrow so assuming I haven't fallen too far behind (ha ha) I should be posting when I awaken, I shall need time to ponder my post, sense I have not been pondering it over the last few days.

*clears throat*

Well, I'm alive. I also find myself with something resembling 'spare time' these days (egads!). This is such a new situation for me that I'm not sure what to do with it. I've already done some sleeping in AND some reading, so I think that next on my to-do list is 'kick some Venurian ass'.

Back in STYLE!

Damn, I think I remember why I love Stradia again.

Enough Title™

Alrighty, here we go. Going to type something up now if it kills me! (Or worse!)

There, Updated. Hope it works...

The battle thickens!

Whose taking bets, and on whom?

It's inside my Title™!!

Hey, Azisien, have a few ideas to run past you before I start with this post:

Mind if I add some things to the setting in the Mindscape? Thinking of adding some stuff outside the current field to add some flavor, still rolling some ideas around.

Also, was thinking of Vincent having a small appearance change to reflect some of his actions/abilities/self image.

And was also wondering if I could expand on the whole 'Voices in Vincent's Head' thing, not actually adding more combatants, more just voices and personalities.

And anything I should know about Amelia before I start writing her?

And for Ari, is this still PC vs PC combat, or is Ari an NPC now? Sould I plan on one action or can I do some attack exchanges?

Azisien 12-18-2007 12:00 PM

Hmmm...in order of asking...

Flavor up the mindscape as you see fit, it's yours after all. Things like memory and such can modify it. Vincent has a lot of control in that sense. Ariosto, however, would also have some control while he's within your mind.

Appearance change is fine, so is the voice thing. You don't have to literally add more combatants skill-wise, but you could always add more "beings" in his head, they can just be manifestations of Vincent's power without tossing balance out the window.

Amelia is short (especially compared to Vincent), wears traveller's robes from the Temple of Avelia in Gole Forest, has shoulder-length brown hair (I think :p) and currently has a lightning preference. She's never been in a mindscape before and this one isn't hers, so she's out of her element. You can factor that in however you like.

Ariosto is now an NPC, I think it's same to say Lumenskir is on an extended leave of absence. Battle exchanges = more flavor!

*cries* There are you happy I posted.

Hopefully my next one will be more fruitful and action packed rather than a backpost of thoughts.

I'll await Barahad or you to post again before posting. Because I don't really know how your villian would react to actually being hit. Which kinda left me in a rough spot for a post....But then again I can't blame you, after all I hadn't posted in, awhile.

Azisien 12-19-2007 09:10 AM

Yay!! A Mintaro post and it's not even Christmas yet! :D

And I think you guys have earned some creative license. Feel free to take my villains and run with them a little bit if it helps your posts.

If it helps, I would say Penn's statement is a little exaggerated, Jyde will not become fully paralyzed or anything, but he'll become more sluggish, less agile, and allow you guys to land more hits.

His armor is very high quality and it's going to soften blows in a big way. Plus, he's a 9 foot tall gargoyle with more muscle in his right leg then you guys have in your whole body. In summation, he doesn't quite 'take hits' the same way a human does, but a sword through the neck or heart or face should have similar effect.

Using the skill system, Jyde actually has the advantage. Make sure you guys take hits for every one you land, at the least. You'll have to pull out some impressive stops to beat him, but it wouldn't be a final boss fight without that, neh?

For Ariosto, the Kenshurians actually have the advantage. Loki/Amelia/Vincent vs. Ariosto/Oyo. You guys will almost undoubtedly win, but it should still prove to be a good fight.

TheBlindMime 12-22-2007 11:39 AM

I'll be posting in this tonight, I'll be sleeping now.

Also I'm going to have Oyo win for a bit before I start handing him back his butt. Just because I don't think Loki does enough defense in his fighting.

He mostly just seems to win. Besides I thought of an interesting handicap for him.

Now as gauntlets are not perfect both of Loki's hands are bleeding but his right is worse off then the left.
