Metropolis: City of rebirth
ooc: He’s back and with upgrades.
“So why is it you called me down here.” the executive who ordered the strike on Anya said. He had walked into a clean room. His immaculate suit covered in a static proof suit. A group of Styrofoam cups littered the room. and a dirty work desk with an advanced super computer lay in the corner. “Hey yeah boss, I was wondering about my up coming vacation time.” A young lab tech said. “Is that why you called me down here. I’m to busy for this.” “Chill boss dude. It was a joke. Take the stick out of your ass. I noticed several irregularities in the wreckage.” “Like?” “Well we the hard drive has picked up thousands of gigs of unreadable files, most likely a result of the second problem. The log shows a power irregularity but the power supply is pristine. Lastly, and most strange is some weirdness I found on the claws.” “Weirdness?” “The strangest kind. I found a some cells and some tiny machines.” “so?” “So the cells had tiny machines inside. It’s a perfect cybernetic organism. Essentially stem cells that were repairing, and replacing damaged parts.” “You mean a cyborg destroyed our android.” “bingo boss man.” “Who could have built such a thing.” “No idea.” “This complicates things. If one of the three corporations knows something why haven’t they moved to stop us? We should move up our timetable to compensate. Also you said the cells could replace and repair? Any way we can harvest those?” “Already ahead of you. I sent half of the sample to our cloning division the rest I created a nutrient rich lubricating solution and deployed into the unit as a prototype. It should be operational by tomorrow. “Excellent. Send it back to complete it’s mission.” “Aye aye El Capitan.” “And be more respectful next time.” |
OOC: So I'm guessing he was transferred into the robot that attacked him??
Chris paced around nervously. He went outside for some fresh air and some time alone. People were walking by, but he didn't notice it. He did raise his head once, when a man said to him, "Hey, watch-" Then guy just stood there, almost frozen with fear, but fear of what? Him? He then ran away, as if he had seen a ghost. It was strange. |
ooc: Could be, or we have a clone too. Either way we have a regenerating killer robot coming to a neighborhood near you.

Bob had gone off alone once again, not wanting anyone to talk to him or annoy him. He was getting really pissed and only wanted to get revenge for that cowerdly act *insert amount of days after Spark's death here* days ago. He had spent nearly all his money getting better weapons and upgrades and hadn't eaten in several days. He was killing himself in his plotting and he didn't seem to care.
|
Soup had taken Spark's death very badly. He hasn't slept in a week, and he's barely alive in the dumpster where he lives.
|
Requiem sat silently in the underground cafe. "Give me another Elektra." He placed the shot glass back on the table. He had been drunk since the day that Spark had passed away. His once well groomed self was ragged. His clothes although clean were always in disarray. His hair as a tangled mess and his eyes were always bloodshot from the lack of sleep. God how long has it been now since I last slept? Those nightmares they haunt me even in my waking hour. I could have dones something I could have saved Spark.

Garry sat, as he had since Spark's death, brooding and watching. Whoever had done that, <Hadn't it been McDonald-Phoenix?> wasn't likely to give up, and if it really was McP, who, he knew well enough, had virtually endless resorces at their fingertips, he knew it would only be a matter of time before they tried it again. He'd be ready this time <Damn Machines!>

[System restart.]
[Hard ware diagnostic: Optimal] [Soft ware diagnostic: Optimal] [Loading mission parameters...] [Load complete.] [Searching Database...] The robot stood and looked around the storage bay. The bay doors opened. The jet pack activated the android flew out of the bay. It activated it's ECM unit and flew towards a service port to the undercity. |
Garry sulked into the underground cafe. He sat down next to Requiem. "So, what do we do when they send another of those things?" he asked
|
Elektra poured another for Requiem. She was visibly distraught over Spark's death. She sat down and rubbed her eyes. She was stressed, overtired, and just plain pissed off. She didn't even bother to warn the man when he started making a drunken fuss, she just hit him, picked him up, and tossed him out of the bar. "This can't go on. Something needs to be done."
