Sure, if you can't think of any better reason to be following the group.

I'd still rather you kill him in some way other than what was already posted, just because it seems kinda silly... at least without some kind of domination mind tricks at work or something. Or not kill him and take the order from him instead of place it yourself, if that's what you meant.

I don't really care. I wasn't planning on using him again (though I may if he stays alive, not sure).

that reminds me, did we get points? When my net died I missed like two days of posts

Krylo 09-05-2007 08:49 PM

You have two points. IHMN has been keeping track. He's like a secretary. It's awesome.

Red Mage Black 09-05-2007 09:02 PM

Well, I guess it could come from another source for the contract to kill them. It's not like I can't make someone up out of the blue. At least now I can plan for the future.

Akamaz--Is your master plan to get all the ogres high?

Edit: Reply to below--lack of strength.

Akamaz 09-05-2007 09:04 PM

hey, I had a quick question, is the melee VI (V) due to lack of strength in a kobold? or just a general lack of melee capabilities?

just curious

actually, if it happens it happens.. a hallucinating ogre chief is a much easier to take down than a sober one. I was hoping for some of the more spectacular effects, since it was prepared specifically as a poison, not as a drug that someone can accidentally OD on.

Demetrius 09-05-2007 11:39 PM

Didn't we want to break lines to draw the ogres back into confined spaces so we'd have a chance? Not that my halfling will have a problem surviving, but the rest of you might want to start thinking strategy on the whole before you all just get run over and die.

Funka Genocide 09-06-2007 12:36 PM

I sent the mercs into a fighting withdraw judging from the resurgence of the ogre onslaught. Things aren't looking good I'd say. Everyone is going to get flattened by sheer mass of ogre bodies if we don't find some way to divert them or escape them.

With such a poerful group we might be able to combine everyone together and force our way through to the other side, like an arrow formation. Of course the risks getting bogged down and subsequently trampled to death. Or we could continue to use our dwindling battleine as a speed bump.

I think the only real option here is to try and influence the other soldiers to help us. Maybe one of the more personality minded persons can deliever an impromptu speech to get the other soldier's blood boiling?

That doesn't sound like a bad idea actually...
